This portable toilet is amazing! It is durable and so easy to use. I used it with commode liner. Since moving to a place with outdoor bathroom, it comes in handy at night. I dont have to go outside in the cold when I need to use the bathroom. It doesnt take up too much space and easy to clean. I would recommend using a commode liner. Easy to throw out waste. I would definitely take it with me when I go camping next time

We just built a quanset hut as a shop on our farm and it's in the middle of nowhere with no power, no water, no nothing. Not even a tree to squat behind. So I purchased this much to the laughter of my husband, knowing it would get used. And guess who the first person was to use it? Yep, the laughing husband. I bought biodegradable bags for disposal and have heard nary a complaint yet. It seemed awkward when I first used it and had to remove the baggie, because I thought the baggie would fall into the bucket, but it didn't, and everything stayed clean and dry and just like one would hope for when using a portable toilet. I very much recommend this for camping, or keeping at a shop, or barn, or anywhere where there's no place to "go."

Really handy little toilet! I use it at my cabin when I’ve turned the water off for the season. I use it just for peeing at night and it’s working out great. I’m an old woman and have trouble getting to the outhouse in the middle of the night, especially 2 or 3 times. Ah the joys of getting old! I use regular white kitchen trash bags to line the bucket completely and double bag it in the morning. I can see how this would be useful in a van or tent too, for the same purpose. I wouldn’t want it sloshing around going down the road but it’s great for night time use. Personally I wouldn’t take a dump in it. I’m old, weak, overweight with a bad hip. I put it next to the sink in my winterized cabin bathroom so I can grab on to the counter to stand. I wish it were a couple inches taller and easier to get up from. That would be a factor for me if i were using it in a tent where there’s nothing to hold on to. I’m going to try a couple paver stones underneath to give it more height next year. I couldn’t be happier with it.

If you have a bucket under 12" you can use that too. I recommend putting pine pellets (not bark) in the bucket for oder control and absorption.

This porta-potty is considerably better than the buckets with a round toilet seat on it. It's lightweight and yet quite strong - no problem holding an adult weight. And it actually fits the human form - especially if you're male (you know what I mean). It's very well designed with an integral high volume bucket with a handle and a lid to contain odors between cleanings. You can buy the disposable liner bags made specifically for porta-potties, but you can also buy 10 gallon plastic waste basket bags that come in a box of bulk quantity of 500 bags and they work just as well - just as strong - at a considerably lower price. I highly recommend this.

Much more comfortable than those 5 gallon bucket seats and the toilet paper holder is a nice add. Now i am all set for when the "big one" hits LA...

Great for the price.....it will is exactly what I wanted for Wilderness Cabin in Alaska...saw dust and peat in bucket....then contents will be emptied into Compost Tumbler with Peat Moss...Coco Nut fibers...and digesting booster....should work excellent!

Looks sturdy and, well... inviting. Ooks and feels like a regular toilet, except lightweight and shifts around.

Just as I had imagined by the picture. Can hold my weight and I'm about 235. Just the right size for storage awaiting that moment where nature calls at the most inconvenient of times in the semi. Bought some waste bags with the absorbent pads included. Not going to make it a mainstay, but perfect for an emergency. Simple and exactly what I was looking for and priced well! I bought this for my daughter who has Crohn’s disease, but has only one bathroom in her house. This along with a pop up dressing tent give her a second bathroom. This is a good size and isn’t cheaply made like many of them are. You can use any size bags in it if you don’t want to empty the bucket. We prefer the bags. Highly recommended for anyone who needs an additional toilet in their house or on the road.
