Great value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge bag of perlite! Great value for the money. Mixed it nicely with my potting soil to help keep my plants from staying too moist. It’s a very big bag, but easily stored in my tub that holds my potting soil bags. Exactly what you’d be looking for in a bag of perlite.

Don't choke your roots, use perlite to keep soil aerated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perlite is is important for soil if your soil compacts because roots need aeration for air and water flow. Supreme Perlite is a great brand to use from experience. I find it has less dust and always helps my plants be healthier and look great!

Lightweight And Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a beginner gardener with this only being my second time growing things. My research over the fall/winter taught me Perlite was a great additive for my soil as it’ll help retain moisture. I used it in my big beds, but more importantly my small herb containers as they’re subject to drying out quicker. In a weeks time my herbs have germinated and the soil is doing great. The package was much bigger than I expected and super lightweight. Im glad I was able to add perlite this year and will continue going forward.

It seems to be working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in my raised bed with my beets. I used this same raised bed last year with no luck. So far by using this product I have some beet leaves coming up! It doesn’t really have a smell but it a bit dusty

Great perlite product for my gardening!

Great for even drainage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used natural volcanic perlite for my snake plant and it made a noticeable difference in drainage. It helped the soil from staying too wet. My plant had new growth in 2 weeks! The bag is very light weight but when you open it there is some dust that comes flying out. Good thing is that it doesn’t have scent and it’s not messy when wet so I can have it in my living room.

High quality, but finer than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary bag of Supreme Perlite Horticultural Grade Perlite in exchange for my honest review. I was looking forward to receiving the coarse grade to help with soil aeration for some larger plants I was preparing to pot, but I found that the texture consistency actually leaned much closer to a mix of medium and fine particles rather than a true, chunky coarse blend. I’ve rated the perlite three stars because of this particle size discrepancy. Sizing consistency is crucial when you are hoping to achieve specific drainage and aeration goals for your soil mix. That being said, the perlite itself is high-quality, clean, and sterile. It still has proven to be a very good and effective amendment for my seed starting mix, it just fell short as a coarse grade.

Great results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been expire eating with different ways to use this perlite, and so far it seems to work great no matter how I use it. I’ve mixed it into soil, used it for drainage, and even layered it on top of soil with good results. I did notice that when used on top of soil, it seemed to absorb minerals and turned yellow. Overall, I like the product and I’m hopeful it will continue improving my soil quality and plant health.
