Cheap junk. Nothing "solid" about this wood.

Total junk. The cheapest bed frame I've ever seen. I can't believe this can legally be marketed as "solid wood." The "solid" wood is such poor quality and so hollow that I literally scratched and punctured it with my fingernails just from picking it up. You can hear the "wood" cracking and buckling as you tighten each screw. The wood slats are warped and don't lie flat on the bed frame, so you constantly hear them rattle when you get up or down. The whole bed feels so flimsy and brittle. The assembly process was extremely frustrating. Multiple screws are in very awkward angles requiring an allen wrench that can only be rotated a few degrees at a time, with a single screw taking several minutes to tighten. Several pieces of the frame had noticable scratches, chips and dents straight out of the box. Overall we're extremely disappointed and probably won't be buying furniture online from Target again.
