Many places that are missing the paint color. Wood seems sturdy

The chairs arrived on time and were packed well. There were a couple of minor flaws in the finish, but nothing a little furniture market won't cover. They were a little tricky to put together, especially attaching the seats to the frame since you have to use a real screwdriver and there are some pilot holes but other points of attachment where you have to put the screws directly into solid wood. My husband did the seats for all four of the chairs we bought, and definitely got better after the first one. They aren't perfect, and the first one we put together creaks a tiny bit, but they seem very sturdy. Overall, I would recommend unless the thought of putting furniture together makes you cringe, then maybe this is not the furniture for you.

Very lightweight, the paint chips and the wooden seat scratches with minimal contact. Wish we could return.

Ordered in March 2022 but not built until the end of April. I’m extremely disappointed. These were exact replacements for a set I bought my father that we ended up using after he passed away. His set last 5 years. This set didn’t last 2 months. And we don’t mistreat our things. Totally unacceptable.

The chairs are truly black but poor quality. Both chairs are split on sides due to assembly.

Super cheaply made chairs. We assembled one and the screws that came in the package were too long so when assembled the screw broke through to the other side of the leg of the chair. When someone sits in the chair it moves back and forth and is super rickety. Thankfully we only assembled one chair, we will be returning all 6 purchased.

I am overly please with this purchase! very sturdy chairs, nice solid wood material. Packing is well done. Assembly was a breeze. Highly recommended.

It feels like plug and play when assembling the chairs. Extra hardware is always a plus. Chairs are completely out of solid wood. I am so pleased with these chairs. Sturdy and generous size.

Great chairs at a great price! The natural wood has more of a red coloring. Easily fixed by a quick sanding and stained to match my custom made table.

The chairs look great but I have a problem with the seat. The holes were pre-drilled and when you put the screws in where the holes were pre-drilled the back of the seat was about 2 inches from the styles on the back of the chair. It looks funny and there’s a huge gap by the back of the seat before the styles and you can see the bottom rail underneath the seats for about 2 inches. These seats will have to be re-drilled to look proper

Received 4 chairs (qty two, two chairs per box) and arrived as described at time order was placed. One package of screws/hardware was missing a few screws. I had some wood screws on hand or you could pick up a few at local home store. I did not want to request another set of hardware, needed chairs assembled for a party. I used a drill for the 3 holes for the seat and also drilled the holes for lower styles. I thought the screws would hold better if I drilled guide holes. First chair took about 45 minutes but others took half that time once I had the process down. Very sturdy when assembled. Look great. I like the wide seat and seat is not too short (in terms of hitting the back of the thigh). The assembly instructions were adequate. Looked as pictured on the webpage.

After reading multiple reviews complaining about drilling the holes to attach the seats to chairs, I almost didn’t buy them. But I have the Tiffany table for a while, and when the chaos went on sale, I decided I will try to drill those holes! The chairs arrived immaculately packed, but with a few unpainted spots on side rails, which are easily fixable of course, and not worth a star deduction. I pulled out my Black & Decker and got ready to drill. The instructions were very clear, both pictured and written. Every part is labeled and fit flash. The first chair took me for about an hour, reading carefully and choosing the right screws. Kept waiting when the instructions will come to the drilling part. Guess what? No drilling required! The 3 screws that attach the seat to the chair went in smoothly with just a regular Phillips head screw driver! In fact, the instructions in one part specified: do not use power tools! The second chair assembly took 20 minutes without even looking in the instructions. The chairs are solid, not waggling, and good looking. And for the price on sale ( and even if not on sale! ), they are worth every penny! And finally, I am 60 years old woman, and these were one of the easiest pieces of furniture I put together!

Quality of the chairs is great for the price point, however, the assembly instructions are inaccurate and many pieces came mislabeled. Took longer than expected to assemble because of this issue, but once the chairs were set up, they turned out great.

Sent the item back. Did not want to drill holes to put chairs together.

Love these chairs - a family member has had these identical chairs for many years and they have held up good - still look new- So when my mom moved into a small apt, we knew exactly what to buy along with the lovely drop leaf table by Tiffany! Bought both at a great price through Target too!

They were very easy to assemble. We ordered 4. We loved how they looked but only after a couple weeks of use the wood from the back started cracking on two chairs. One of the legs on a different chair also cracked. I would get it if we used them every day but we barely used them and this started happening. So after three weeks of use I returned them. For looks I give them a 5 star but for quality a 1 Star.

purchased a total of four sets. I just needed 3 but the third set came in damaged. Therefore, I needed to order the fourth set as a replacement. Return by UPS was easy, however, to actually go to the UPS store was a chore. Target did send me a return label for free shipping. In the meantime, I had two sets of chairs while waiting another week for my third set. As noted in previous reviews, there are still no pre-drilled holes for the seating to be installed. You have to do this yourself. So quality decreased for this reason. Always call customer service if the quantity online shows zero, the customer service rep located a box on their end. This really helped me out since I need all 6 chairs. Chairs are beautiful and the honey oak color of the seats, I found were hard to find in regular furniture stores and so expensive. I am glad I found these online at a reasonable price.
