Q: I love this product, but when I do clean the toilet toilets, the wand itself has to go into the toilet water in order for me to scrub the bottom of the toilet. Is that how it’s supposed to work? Thank you.

  • A: The "brand expert" is lying. When you read the full details and instructions in the item posting, it states multiple times that we have to put the pad INTO the toilet water. So this is truly NO different than using the good old fashioned toilet bowl brush, cleaner, & wear some rubber (cleaning) gloves. *of course it is good to rinse yhe brush then with hot water, bleach, then hot water again, to disinfect it - depending on the product used.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wand is my new favorite cleaning tool!! We have 4 toilets in our home and I can clean all 4 with one wand. The pictures attached show how sudsy it is after cleaning the first toilet and the second is after cleaning the 4th (still sudsy!). I don’t notice a strong smell, which I like. One of our toilets has a bidet and it can be hard to clean behind it with a traditional toilet brush, but this is perfect for getting behind small spaces! I’ll be throwing away all my other brushes.

    Very easy to put together and the disposable sponge has built in disinfectant soap. Easy to clean the bowl and can discard it with a press of a button. Have a trash bag near by to avoid drips while discarding it.

    Keeps your hands clean

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m enjoying using this, and I recommend if you don’t really like to actually touch the inside of your toilet but you want to get a good, quick clean!! You keep all the cleaning discs inside the lidded container and then snap one on before use and then click it right on into the trash when you’re finished. These sud up really good and then I just leave the bubbles to sit and soak in the bowl instead of flushing right away! I even used this to clean my shower once and it still worked for that too!

    Not as good as they once were!

    I have been using the toilet wand for probably 30 years. The cleaning pads over the last few years are not as durable as they first were. If you try to clean under the lip of the toliet bowl the pad separates and comes off the plastic base. I don't think the toilet bowl has been as clean, I notice "moldy" line at water line way more often than before. Not sure what is going on with the production now but I am not a fan!

Clorox toilet wand has changed that. There is nothing disgusting to touch. It cleans very effectively. One time use head with the cleaner built right in is a game changer. Perfect if you don’t want to drag around your toilet cleaning supplies from one toilet to another. Keep one in each bathroom. Also great if you have another residence, summer home or camp that you need to supply with an easy to use toilet cleaner.

I love how easy it is to use. The storage container is sleek and fits in tight spaces and is clean looking in any bathroom. The pad has a nice abrasion on it so it gets a deep clean and its triangular shape reaches up under the bowl. The cleaning formula foams up and smells clean and fresh and when you're done the click of a button and it goes in the trash and the wand is stored away. So easy to use.

    Not happy! The scrubbing head came off while clean

    The scrubbing head came off while cleaning and disappeared instantly! I grabbed a garbage bag to protect my hand and arm to reach down the toilet, but no luck. I tried to vacuum it out with a shop vac, bought a toilet snake to dig further but no luck.I have to take my whole toilet apart!!! I'm 68 and have to have my son help me lift the toilet this weekend. I have used the product for years. This is a first and last. Please make the scrubbing head bigger to avoid this problem!!!!!😡

    Stains the toilet blue

    I have used the cleaning wands for a long time but now find that they leave my newer toilets with blue streaks. Even though the toilets might be clean, the streaks make the toilets look terrible. I don’t have the time to clean the toilets as well as the blue streaks that the cleaner leaves behind. It seems like you could make the product so that the blue dye would disappear after a few minutes or better yet, without the dyes. Anyway, if you could make them without the dye it would be appreciated as I don’t want to change cleaning methods

    Very effective but don’t like the one-time use
