Description
The Libman Tornado Mop is America's best selling twist mop according to IRI. It's great for tougher mopping jobs around the house. With a larger mop head covering 50% more surface area and containing 3 green bands to prevent tangling, it is easy to change out and is machine washable. The polyester blend yarn resists odor causing bacteria. The Libman Tornado Mop also features the grip 'n click ratchet that wrings out more water from the mop head and limits the amount of water it leaves on floors.

Q: Does this mop leave lint on the floor? I'm mopping a herringbone tile that has some ridges the mop will go over. I don't want pieces of the mop to come off.

A: It doesn't typically leave lint, as this is a blended material, however its best to soak mop heads for about thirty minutes prior to use to remove any lint left over from the manufacturing process.

A: This mop wouldn't hurt LVP flooring, but its typically suggested by most LVP floor manufacturers to use a microfiber mop. Avoid cleaners that contain ammonia, mop-and-shine products that leave a film, liquid or paste wax, commercial floor cleaners that are not labeled as safe for LVP flooring, steel wool, and stiff-bristled brushes.

A: The handle has a lever that when pushed into the "unlocked position" allows the handle to telescope to varying sizes. Once you find the length that works for you, you would pull the lever into the locked position to start mopping your floors.

A: When you pull up and twist, the ratchet does most of the work, however, for those with arthritis, strength issues, etc. we recommend our wonder mop as it is lighter in weight than the tornado mop.

Excellent Mop, High Maintenance
Love the mop design and how well I'm able to mop with it! The draw back is that if you do not twist and un-twist the mop correctly, the strings will break. The strings also get caught in the plastic fasteners on mop pole causing it to ball up and not wringe out properly or completely. I use these mops at my cleaning company in Pawleys Island SC. I buy, on average, 5 mops a months for my vacation rental homes. I would love to see a better way to affix strings on mop pole.

I used to like this mop but now it hate it. It rusts on you and it breaks off of the white part that holds the mop together. It’s inexpensive but the down side is the durability.

Hard to clean
I despise this mop! If you are a women and have hair around your house, good luck. This mop traps all the hairs and at the end your better just throwing it away it’s gross. But it’s not just hair it’s any small particles gets trapped it and even when you wash the mop it won’t come out.

I've bought this easily half a dozen times, it's simple but it has half the yarn as the old one we had, which had less yarn than the one before that. Still works but im spending more time cleaning my floors. I'd rather they raise the price than cheapen the product. At the price point it's still better than others I've tried. I don't care about trying new products so if it works I stick with it, but if they go any cheaper I'd reconsider.

Nice Idea... but wasn't functional for me.
Terrible mop! I don't understand how there are so many positive reviews. This mop worked at first, but after dunking it and wringing it out a couple times it began to get all hung up on itself. Now it's sort of stuck in the position all the way down and I can no longer pull it up, it is a ball of useless yarn. I would NOT recommend this terrible mop. However, I like the black rectangular bucket with the red handle!

Low quality but does the job in a pinch.
I bought this because it was cheap and since I only really needed to use it a few times as I dont typically use regular mops. It broke after my third use, which is fine because I won't need it again. If you are more gentle with it than I was it will probably last longer. It's a bit hard to twist but you get what you pay for.

Easy and affordable
I have used the same mop for over a year now. I’m a house cleaner and use this at least 2-3 times a week. It will rust but you should not leave the mop head on it in between uses. Never had an issue. I cycle between 4 mop heads and clean between uses. For the price, this mop gets the job done
