A strong roast, even with heavy creamer!

The Kcup version is dusty, somewhat powdery in the cup, like it's not coarse filtering itself out well enough in the brewing process. I am not a fan of that. The Kcups are also environmentally wasteful. I don't appreciate that part either. But the flavor itself is tasty, as long as you mix it with a little bit of sweetener of choice and a splash of whatever dairy you prefer to sort of dull down the intensity. #freesample #ad

Espresso is bitter and sour for the last few month
I have been a fan of Starbucks espresso for over 25 years. It was the best espresso in the states, and the closest to sweet Italian espresso that I’ve had. And we have been devoted customers. But over the last few months, the quality of the espresso, including the aroma, has plummeted to a bitter and sour taste. No matter where we buy the beans, it is truly disappointing. What happened? Did they change the beans? Standards of the entire chain seem to have disappeared into less than mediocre. The taste of espresso is now completely. Unacceptable. It tastes, old and stale, and we have gone to several stores in our area with the same results. Really saddened by this.
