Crest Pro-Health Whitening Gel Toothpaste 4.3oz 2 Pack

I loved the mint flavor and it really did clean my whole mouth preventing bad breath, except I ended up with horrible staining on my teeth from the stannous fluoride. I went to the dentist and they were able to remove it, but they recommended I switch toothpaste.

I've been on a toothpaste journey for about a year. I've tried Hello brand, Sensodyne, Colgate, and target brands of various types of toothpaste. I previously used a potassium nitrate toothpaste (target brand is good and cheap but doesn't foam) but my dentist said my gum health needed some work. I tried Parodontax samples and it made my gums feel better but it's way more expensive. Target's stannous fluoride toothpaste is TRASH. Crest has 2 cheap stannous fluoride toothpastes, this one and the "clean mint" version. The major difference is the intensity of mint versus whitening. This one will whiten your teeth, but it is less minty. Clean mint does not whiten your teeth, but it is very strong mint. Since I've been using stannous fluoride toothpastes, I went from having quite a bit of "fours" and "fives" at the dentist to almost exclusively "ones" and "twos" (referring to the gum health checks). Plus, it actually helps my tooth sensitivity more than potassium nitrate toothpastes!! The only issue is that every once in a while, my gums get a bit irritated so I switch back to potassium nitrate for a couple of days until it heals, then back to stannous fluoride. Huge win especially at this price.

Good toothpaste, not pastry or strange tasting.

Bought this as a reccommendation from my dentist. This claims to whiten, my teeth had stains. I brush 2x a day. Got a cavity, never had a cavity in my life! Had to get a filling. Only get this if you’re desperate and have no other option.

This used to be my favorite toothpaste and the only one I would buy but the flavor changed and now I don’t like it anymore. Guess I’ll have to find a new toothpaste.

I switched to Crest ProHealth many years ago when I noticed that another brand I was using, didn’t prevent plaque. I’ll be honest, I rarely floss. I hate it. I see my dentist routinely and they always say “wow, you have clean teeth. I have nothing to scrape” or there is so little they had to really search for it. This toothpaste and the other prohealth line from Crest, are the best. I will never leave this brand because it’s done amazing for my teeth.

Good product and at a good price

We’ve been using this toothpaste for years. Bought it recently and the formula changed! E we can’t stand it now! Sad we have to search for a new toothpaste. Not happy with Crest for this change.

They changed the flavor. This has been my only toothpaste for many years because I hate minty toothpaste. But now this is just another minty toothpaste. Sucks, I have to find something else now.

This toothpaste burned my tongue and gave me sores in my mouth. Apparently this is common with Crest Pro Health, which I only read about after purchase. Threw it away after only a few uses. Avoid.

I have used Pro-Health Whitening toothpaste for years and noticed it tasted different a few months ago. I threw out a few tubes thinking it was a bad batch or was environmentally compromised during shipment. Also started wondering if my taste buds were changing as i get older or if I had Covid, but food and drink still tasted fine. Now, reading the reviews, it appears the flavor was intentionally changed, it is absolutley disgusting. Three tubes I just bought last week are going in the trash and I am going to a different brand.

They changed the flavor!? Ugh now I have to find a new tooth paste. I hate peppermint and that's what the new taste is!
