The cabinet locks did not work, it still opens without needing to be pushed in, defeating the purpose, even though to close the drawer, you need to push it down, meaning the mechanism is high enough that it should be catching.

Child lock does its job but installing is extremely frustrating as the hardware that comes with the kit snaps off inside the cabinet and the screw head comes off when being drilled in even when the hole is pre drilled. Happens to me with 6 screws through only 5 drawers

I’m 14 but these are still on our cabinets 💀 one broke off and I took 2 off but the rest is still on so these have held up well😭

The Features part of this description says "Tool-Free Assembly", which is why I purchased it. Upon getting the item though, the directions in the package state that a drill is needed. I looked on this reviews page for more info and found that a screwdriver may work instead of a drill if needed, but still, I don't know why it incorrectly says "tool-free." Wish I could return the product.

I dislike how you have to screw them into your cabinet wood.

Screws are complete trash. They are literally falling apart. The clamps work well, but you can’t install it with the screws that break apart.

The install template is a nice idea, but it adhered once and then wouldn’t let go of the cabinet door. I guess I can use some double sided tape for the next one but that seems poorly designed. Speaking of poor design, the catch has a petty much non-existent slope on it, meaning when you close the door the latch hits the edge of the catch and bounces off. This means you pretty much have to press the latch so that it’ll actually close. When you adjust it so it’ll close normally then it won’t catch and hold. If there was just a little more plastic on the catch it would work like it should.

The back of the packaging says you only need a screwdriver. But after opening and reading instructions, you also need a drill. Very inconvenient, not very easy to instal as claimed. They work just fine but it’s not as easy as they make it sound

My husband tried to install this. First of all, it's hard to get a drill to fit, even after removing drawers, to drill the holes. Then, even with the holes, the screws wouldn't go in. We had multiple screws break attempting to screw them in, both slowly with the drill and by hand. The template seems easy in theory but in practice, this is too complicated to install. We gave up and bought babyproofing tools and don't require any screwing. I wish I had bought that in the first place and not wasted money on this product.

Good quality. Easy to replace old ones. Directions are clear.

These do the job of keeping the kiddos out of cabinets. They fit my cabinets well. However I don’t like that they are spring loaded so that you have to push down on them in order to CLOSE the cabinet door or drawer. I’d much rather be able to simply close the cabinet and only deal with the latch to open it

I secured 5 drawers with the proper tools and it took me well over an hour to do so. The system relies on screws that require pilot holes, well, it's difficult to drill a pilot hole when you're working on a drawer. Another issue was the screws themselves, I managed to physically break two of them by twisting them in by hand. The template is a bit of a joke to use, press the paperboard FLAT to get the proper spacing for the latches screws. The latches themselves physically take up a lot of space so don't plan on using these on very full, flat, or drawers that have anything at the top of the front face (like a filing cabinet). Probably where I spent the most time was adjusting the latches themselves. These CAN close without pushing down the latch manually but it requires a lot of precision. There are slides for adjusting the latch and a 'locking' screw, but I found engaging the locking screw adjusts up the latch runing the alignment for a self-closing installation. A simple design tweek on the latch itself woud make this more forgiving. They work but even with proper tools these are difficult to install and won't work for some drawer types. I wouldn't recommend for kitchen applications.

It works but packaging is incredibly misleading about anything “easy”. This wouldn’t be something for anyone without some installation/drilling knowledge. Also, the directions are for a very specific cabinet. I had to change every measurement because of where my cabinet handles are. This is fine, I get cabinets are different, but this needs to be more obvious in directions before I start drilling and installing. The template is also not great. I had to adjust this too because the screw hole templates were too close together.

3/4 screws broke by hand screwing them in. Very cheap, didn't bother continuing.

Really bad quality and poor design. I had several screws break while trying to install by simply hand tightening them. Even after getting one installed, I had to shave the front part so the latch can slide in easily.
