  • A: Thanks for your question, Linda. Vicks BabyRub is not a drug and can be used as often as needed on babies 3 months and older. It's safe to use on the chest, neck, back and the bottom of your baby's feet. Just make sure you cover the feet to avoid accidental ingestion.

  • A: If Vicks BabyRub gets on clothing, it should wash out with proper laundering. If you do find product residue on a garment, wet the stain with the hottest water safe for the fabric. Rub a liquid laundry detergent into the stain; rinse, and then wash the item in washing machine according to care label.

It's also non-medicated and has petrolatum and aloe to leave your baby’s skin feeling soft. BabyRub is meant to soothe and relax your little one, so you can use it as often as necessary too.     Get a WARM mist humidifier instead!

    The first two ingredients are petroleum and fragrance?? And then they top it off with mineral oil!! This stuff will do nothing to help your child’s respiratory tract. Nowhere in the ingredients does it list the ingredients they claim it to have— you know… the eucalyptus, the lavender, and the rosemary… I guess those are just in the fragrance. Just here to say a warm mist humidifier will do wonders for their breathing and to calm their cough enough so they can sleep better. Make sure it’s WARM mist though.

    Be careful, this gave my baby an instant allergic reaction... as I was applying it she began to get red rashes
