Changed for the worse
Have bought this brand of country gravy for years. Something has changed. The last 2 times I purchased, the instructions are different, & the quality & taste is nothing like it used to be. It comes out like thick glue, & can barely stretch for 3 people when using it for biscuits & gravy. I will never buy this brand again.

The Good: It's cheap, it stores easy and it prepares fast. The Bad: ohmygod the taste. It's *incredibly* salty, it has a *NASTY* chemical flavor above and beyond the taste processed foods normally have, and it has an awful aftertaste. Another reviewer opined that it tastes like hot dog water. I would amend that to say rancid hot dog water. I threw it out.

I have no clue how many we eat that could have been expired. If anybody bought this item in the last week or two make sure the dates are good on the one's you have and if most of the dates are expired remove the remaining country gravy mix from your cart and don't buy them again like i'm going to do.

Good gravy!
We love this gray and I was unhappy when I noticed I forgot buy some while shopping. I was delighted to see that I could order it shipped! While Country Gravy is our favourite, all of the Pioneer brand gravies are good. The cost a little more than most but the few pennies extra is worth it.
