    I haven't used a Bic pen in years. I went to a retreat recently where these pens were provided for journaling. I was so impressed by the performance of these pens when I returned home I bought several packs so I could continue journaling in my planner. in terms of the reviews about the wax ball on the tip end I figured out to use the tip of my nail and ease the wax ball off little by little and the entire thing will lift off. The ink lasts a significant amount of time considering the low cost of these pens. I do agree the number if pens should be even so the consumer has equal amounts in the color choices. Bic should consider instructions on how to easily remove the wax ball.

    Want to like, but . . . we will see

    I just bought these pens so don't know how they will do in the long run. The Bic Cristal original pen in the blue is my favorite and go to pen so I got these in multi colors. First thing is the rubber tip protecting the ink tip is very difficult to remove! It breaks off in pieces and some stays on the tip. While trying to remove the rubber the whole middle ink stem came out so it had to be pushed in. The other issue is that you can't see the ink level in any of the fancy colors so no way of knowing how long they will last. Only the blue, black, and red show the ink level.

    Surprisingly wonderful and shockingly inexpensive

    Bought a set for my teenaged college student for note taking. Husband tried one so I am back to buy him a set because he loved how fluid the ink was, how smoothly they wrote, and the unique colors for his work. I tried it after they both remarked how nice they were, and I like them, too! The price was under three and I'd gladly pay more for these. They are quality, unlike the other BIC products I had in my order, which were terrible.

    High quality, Low price.

    The Cristal BIC pens are one of my favorite pens for teaching! The colors are so vibrant and they last a long time. The ink glides on the paper and it makes it easy to grade assignments. They do build up in the tip and need to be cleared but other than that I would highly recommend. They are great quality for the price.
