Broke Immediately

We had this toolset from M&D a few years ago with the toolbox and it worked great. All our screws have broken. M&D cheaper out.

Pretty Big

We are usually pretty big fans of Melissa & Doug but boy is this bulky. He loves the truck but the tools and the "building" aspect get lost and that's really what we were after. We wanted to get him tools and something to work on. I do like that you can put all the tools in the truck but it's still just huge.

Great for teaching dexterity

Out of the 5 Melussa and Doug toys my grandson got for Christmas this year...this one is number one in his eyes...he plays with this for hours and is learning how to use a screwdriver and hammer. The fact that it is a TRUCK is a bonus and it's reinforcing shape and color learning.

Great product

It's roomy ,easy for children to play and load other objects in. The tools easily fit so it also servers as storage for the tools . I also purchased the carrier,it was the same truck unfortunately the peg that connect the trucks to the back part is slightly wider . It would have been more versatile if the pegs would have been the same size. The truck itself is great kids love them! I wouldn't have purchased both if I had known they weren't Interchangeable.

cute toy

my son was given this as a gift. it's very cute and seems durable. this toy has more uses than just building on. my son likes to push it around mostly and use it to make deliveries and fix his wooden railroad.
