Very impressed
Great skillets butter than some I have paid 3 times as much for wish I had tried these first, I could have saved some money but I guess we all learn from our mistakes. Very impressed with the quality and performance. Jb

Great seat!
I love my 10 inch fry pan! The sear you get on steaks or burger patties is perfect. I would never be able to afford the high end tri clad brands. Thank you Tramontina for making an affordable option.

Good pan
I like the quality of this pan. The ten inch size is just right for me. I have only two complaints. First, it is a little hard to pour cooked food from the pan into a bowl, partly because of the weight of the pan and partly because of the shape of the handle. (I have weak hands, so many others might not have these problems. I just scoop the food out with a spatula or a large spoon.) Second, the area around the attachment of the handle, inside and out, is a little difficult to keep polished, even using Barkeepers Friend and plenty of elbow grease. This, however, is more cosmetic than anything else. Apart from these minor problems, I find the pan heats up quickly and evenly on my gas stove. I have enjoyed cooking a number of dishes in it. Except for the areas around the handle attachment, it cleans up very nicely, and continues to look almost like new. It is an attractive piece of cookware, as well as being a useful addition to my kitchen.

Great Pans
Been using these pans daily for a couple weeks now. They have great heat retention and work wonderfully. So glad I saved and bought these.

Perfect pan!
Shopping for new cookware and bought this pan to try. My husband has used it everyday. Hears and cooks evenly, cleans up easily. Will now buy more cookware from this brand.

just buy it
I work in a kitchen with mostly carbon steel pans. Got this for free and while not the best it's absolutely a good purchase for home.

I wouldn't buy again for sure.
Everything sticks to this pan no matter what I have done. Don't dare trying to fry an egg in it!!!

Great addition!
The 12" is a great addition to the larger set of Tramontina cookware that I purchased at the same time. I think this is a "must have" piece for anyone who is more serious as a cook. The 12" lid that came with my larger set fits well enough onto this pan though it is a little loose. Heating is nice and even and the surface is relatively "stick free" at temps under med-high.

Solid value and performance
This 12" get pan is a great pan for larger quantities or longer ingredients. It heats evenly, is well made, and is a good balance of weight vs. structural strength.

High quality steel pan
Great pan, heavy and well made. The three layers of steel make the pan bottom heat up uniformly unlike the cheaper light steel pans. The handle is riveted to the pan, no screws to fall off. The handle gets a bit warm to touch but it is not hot enough to be a concern.

Pass on this one
I’ve had this pan a little over a year and the surface has turned black (light use). I’ve had less expensive brands not do this is in such a short amount of time. Tramontina will not cover this. I would not recommend this brand.

Tri Ply Clad stainless fry pan
I like stainless steel cookware but was so disappointed in this brand fry pan. The instructions said to not use high heat and even after following that instruction the food stuck to the bottom of the pan And was extremely difficult to clean after use I ended up throwing the pan away. Very disappointing

High quality at a decent price.
As good as the more expensive brands. You won't be disappointed.

Not as pictured/described
You should know that the shape of the actual pan you'll receive is not what is shown on the website (see photo). Also, the bottom of the pan measures 10 inches, so it's essentially a 10 in. pan. I bought this to match the pans that come with the 12 piece set, but it doesn't match.

Excellent pan and surprisingly non-stick
Excellent, excellent pan. It is surprisingly non-stick. A small amount of oil and the appropriate temperature (not too high) and it works beautifully. The size is great for stir fries, cooking a batch of vegetables, frying fish or chicken, and even eggs! It is a bit larger than the standard frying pan so there is plenty of room. I have a Wolf induction range and the pan heats up very well. It cleans up very easily - we usually hand-wash it. This is a very versatile pan that everyone should have.
