Better finish quality than I expected
I also ordered two of these ladder shelves. Arrived without any breakage and I was glad to see the finish was a lot like the more expensive Pottery Barn ladder shelves that have been discontinued. I wanted these to match my other Pottery Barn pieces and they are close enough. I dinged 1 star though because one box had the 24 washers and the other one only had 20 washers. Missing 4 washers isn't a big deal, but I did ding it one star for lack of quality control.

Looks great
Ordered the set of 2, put together the first set with no issues. The 2nd set had a broken shelf, but we hot glued it as opposed to returning it. 1 out of 10 is great odds! The wood is solid. I am not going to put very heavy items on it though, not sure how much weight each shelf could hold...
