Rustic, country-farmhouse pieces like the Edouard console table work to create a homely atmosphere. Crafted from richly textured reclaimed Mindi wood in oak finishing, the lower part of the table is hand-painted in a fresh shade of light gray with a distressed effect to give it that beautiful timeworn look while the table top remains as weathered oak finishing for a two-tone effect. Its solid top has an enduring quality, with beveled edges for extra detail and a bleached finish for added rusticity. Place at the entryway, living room or even in bedroom for a cute and compact look. Would recommend but a few issues to consider

This console table is beautiful and a great fit in our entryway. Colors are true to photos on the website. Gave 4 stars instead of five because it arrived slightly damaged and nearly impossible to mount to wall with provided materials. The damage makes the right side drawer difficult to open. I tried to tap the wood back into place but still difficult to open. May also try rubbing wax on the tracks of the drawer. Probably will not be able to mount it to the wall because the table is not flush to the wall due to baseboards.

Pretty, but adjustments were needed

I love the look of the table. I would give it 5 stars except that the front panel of the table was not screwed into place accurately, which caused the drawer guide on one drawer to fall out. The guide did not touch both the front and back panels. I had to do some adjustments on the panel and then nail the drawer guide in place. Also, there is a design flaw in that you need to anchor the table to the wall due to the narrowness of the table. This is supposed to be achieved with the screws that were sent with the table being screwed into the wall and the table being "hung" onto the screws similarly to a picture frame using the brackets that are attached to the table. However, most homes, including mine, have baseboards that prevent the table from being flush against the wall. In order to use the attached brackets, the screws need to be longer than the ones provided. The table was the perfect color and size for my foyer, so the minor adjustments are worth it to me.
