Eh, kind of a hassle
Yes, both the outside slip cover and inside liner are washable. but you have to remove the trillions of tiny pieces of foam and TRASH they grind up to stuff in there. So if anything spills on it, and soaks into it, it's a royal pain to scoop out all the pieces that fit into 4 40 gallon trash bags, just to wash the cover and liner. not water proof/ resistant in the slightest. Not worth the $150 a piece, imo.

Chemical smell
The memory foam in this chair has a strong chemical/toxic smell that we couldn't get rid of, even after leaving it out in our garage for over a week. You can wash the covers, but the smell from the foam came right through whenever we sat on it. Some residual odors are normal for new furniture, but this was ridiculous. We gave up and had to return it - the smell was very odd.

Dont bother
I’ve had this chair for about 5 months now and loved it at first but it doesn’t hold shape any more and the part I lay in get too flat even when I try and fluff it up. I’m not a big person either, under 115lbs so I feel like that shouldn’t happen for the price of this chair.

toxic fumes
The instructions say to let the memory foam expand for 4-5 days. Although it didn't smell when I first took it out of the box, when I opened the compression bag to let it expand, it started to left off noxious fumes that smelled of a mix between glue and gasoline. I tried tried letting it off-gas outside or (for overnight) a closed room, but still it smelled for three days, making my eyes and throat burn no matter where I was in my house. Eventually I got it out of my home and returned it, but even with opening all my windows and blasting all fans for hours, I can smell the lingering effects, still with burning eyes and throat and a headache a day later. I've never experienced such a toxic, noxious item.

Bean bag
I don’t know how this bean bag gets rating of 41/2 star. I agree with the customer jennifer i had same experience,for me too it was a Christmas gift for my son but disappointed not worth the single penny i payed for. The foam just doesn’t open up and not at all comfortable to sit on...wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Foam didn’t expand to make bean bag a chair
This bean bag was bought as a Christmas gift. Since having the bean bag, it’s still hard as a rock and the foam inside will not expand, going on 6 days now of hoping for everything to expand. Am I suppose to peel every piece of foam apart? I would not recommend this bean bag to anyone if we have to peel the foam inside apart.

This arrived a week ago very compact I was unsure it was “fluff” to full size. It did! Took a few days but now it huge and comfy. The fabric is great, love the color for my sons playroom. We had looked at love sac and the other one (I forget the name) that have retail locations but couldn’t justify the price. This bean bag/memory foam bag is just like theirs but at more than half the cost. I really am very impressed. And relieved after being nervous buying online without being able to test/sit on it first.
