Step 11 is physically impossible
For pre-drilled Target furniture, this is pretty good quality. The description clearly indicates the cubby size as well. It was also easy to do the first 10 steps - way easier than target brand bookshelves The issue: the individual cubbies is one piece you put together with 11 short shelves sliding into two long vertical pieces. Once you have it together, step 11 has you slide it into the frame. Well, In order for the right side to be showing, you have to carefully finagle the pieces so the horizontal shelves don't fall out while dropping it into the frame. So you either take HOURS to do this or have to install it so that the unfinished edges of the inner shelves are showing. So mad that I bought TWO of these

A pain and waste of money
With the reviews I saw, I expected better quality. Was almost impossible to put together, took forever, the back is made out of literal cardboard. The only way one piece would go in and stay and be secure was flipped the other way so a section is not even the color it is supposed to be. I would return it, but it would be too much trouble to take it apart and send back. Also - had to keep it upside down to keep it more sturdy; one of the screws was broken so the long piece was not attached - had to make do.

Package arrive damaged and ripped. Some of the pieces are scratched/chipped. The directions reference pieces with labels (c3,c4,c9 etc)…but not one piece is actually labeled. Pressed wood, not what I was expecting from the pictures online.

I put the pieces together and my husband helped put the pieces together. I nailed the backing on. It took about 30-45 minutes. This was the PERFECT solution in our closet. Initially, we had a roller cart and it was OKAY, but it was too wide and did not allow for the closet door to completely open. NOW! This shoe storage is just what was needed.

Love this! My closet looks so much better and I can find my shoes! For the reviewers that wanted bigger cubbyholes; 1) the unit would then be too large for most closets 2) I put one shoe in facing the front and one shoe in facing the back - this way I can see the front of the shoe and the heel height. Very sturdy and well-packaged. Easy to put together, but requires 2 people move it. It is very heavy once assembled, but contained an anchor for safety. Great storage and organization. Women's (Size 8.5) pumps, flats, sandals and sneakers fit perfectly in 1 cubbyhole. The unit looks very nice when finished and improved the look of my closet.
