NOT PROTEIN RECHARGE! Ceramide recharge - doesn't work
THIS IS NOT PROTEIN RECHARGE! It is L'oreal's replacement, new product and it doest NOT work on my hair. I'm so tired of L'Oreal cancelling products. Just before my first daughter's wedding they discountinued their curl refreshing spray and now they cancel protein recharge just in time for my second daughter's wedding. I'm going to look for another brand that won't cancel products as soon as I find them. Such a waste of time.

Not making much difference
I wanted to like it, but unfortunately, it didn’t really do anything good or bad to my hair. I read the direction multiple times to make sure i was applying it right but still… The scent reminded me of the hair product my grandpa used, but at least it wasn’t that strong. It’s probably better than not applying anything on hair, so i am going to use it up but i will not repeat the product again.

Bring back Elvive Protein Recharge Conditioner
I have tried this because I can't find what I usually use, which is: L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Leave-In Conditioner. I don't like this nearly as much and do not plan to purchase again. Please bring back the Protein Recharge product. I have seen many comments that people feel the same as I do and don't like the Ceramide Recharge, please bring back the Protein Recharge or you will be losing customers.

Not happy with your new replacement
I bought this because I can no longer find the total repair 5. It dried my hair out and made my hair brittle and break at the ends. The new fragrance not good.

Inferior to the predecessor
Why on Earth did you discontinue the protein recharge? It made my fine hair behave...with a bit of fullness. I've used several high-end products that don't compare to the Protein Recharge. This new product causes a weird combo of stringy and dry strands. It's an inferior product. Uggh, L'Oréal!

I have really thin and flat hair so I got a perm in 2023. When the perm was growing out I got my hair trimmed off and it didn't grow again for two years; staying at collarbone length. My hair stylist said it kept breaking before it could gain any length. I tried several leave-in conditioners. One that I was using was discontinued so I tried L'oreal Elvive total repair. It has been a miracle! It's probably grown four inches since I started using Elvive this year, and is now mid-back length. I also use Elvive Hyaluron plump shampoo and conditioner.

Changed product, beware
I’ve been buying this product for years and they’ve changed it. It used to come in a tan bottle and it had 490° heat protection. I know they changed the product because of the items in my purchase history have changed to this. This is false advertising. Changing the product and keeping the reviews for the old product. I have been using this entire product line (shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning leave in conditioner) but no more. Back to square one for hair products.

This Rate is For The Horrible Target Experience
The rate is for the horrible Target experience. The product was unavailable at the store, so it was shipped. The wrong product was sent, the formula is NOT the same and the product sent has a black packaging - clearly different. Also, the email sent indicating the product delivery was misleading as the correct product is pictured when instead the wrong product was delivered. I called, Target ordered a replacement. For the 2nd time, the SAME wrong product was sent, the same misleading email and obviously the same person at Target did it again. When I called Target for the 2nd time it was a parade of horrors regarding agents and their supervisors. The only thing they did was to refund the money. They were just way too lazy to resolve the root of the problem: identify the person who consistently did that. No wonder Target stocks are tanking. And look at their CEO, just doing nothing until his scheduled departure. Horrible customer service, deflective people, irresponsible, lazy, do not truly resolve anything, incompetent. If Target can't provide a true customer service, then CLOSE YOUR DOORS and stop faking you care for your customers.

For people who wash hair frequently
Stay away from this if you don’t wash your hair often, I shower, but I don’t wash my hair every day. this will strip your hair. It has Dimethicone which is silicone and it will only “feel” better and “look”better but it’s not treating it if you don’t have moisture. It’ll start making your hair brittle. That’s what happened to me. I now have shorter ends because of this product. I had to cut my ends. The Breakage was horrible. I suppose if your hair is super healthy it might not be too bad I have copper color hair (treated) but my hair wasn’t bad. review your ingredients I don’t recommend this or would buy ever again! Terrible experience.
