Dont judge it before its assembled
This ended up being the perfect piece for our house. Was worried when I first took it out of the box as it had some slight marks and felt flimsy. Once assembled, it felt sturdy and the marks on the wood looked natural. Definitely would recommend a drill for attaching the cabinet lip, as this was hard to line up with manually screwing. Overall, great product

Great bench
This bench is awesome for an entry area. Hold my 300lb self with ease and there is plenty of room for shoes. I think this a great balance between budget friendly and quality.

Do not buy! Damaged!
The first bench we put together and noticed and crack at the bottom and chipped area. Contacted customer service and took speaking with them for over 30 minutes to send us a new one for the same price since we bought it on sale. New one came, took out 2 pieces and both were damaged. Will be returning this one too and looking for a different bench. Horrible that both were damaged. Do not buy!!

Great looks, some issues
This is a beautiful bench and great quality. I had issues with putting the bench lid on due to the hardware sent with the bench. There were way more screws than needed in the package and they were 3 different sizes but not enough of one single size to use all one type!! This caused the lid to skew when placing the hinges. Once I figured that out, it was fine. Photo of screws provided.

Great addition to our entryway!
We love our new bench and added it as a piece in our entryway. It is a bit shorter than we expected it to be, that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. Other than the height, and how low you have to get to sit on it, we really like having it. We've gotten used to the height, and it looks fantastic with our decor.

Beautiful addition to hall.
Lovely, looks just like the picture. The packaging was superb, everything arrived intact. Instructions were overly detailed, which could be confusing. I'm a 75 yr. old grandmother, but pretty darn good for my age........ I assembled it alone and it took about 2 hours. Did end up with the arms on the wrong side, but that was a quick fix. I do feel it is a little short, but I knew that from reading the other reviews. It's true to the stated measurements, but it just looks a little low. I'll probably end up putting a 1" or 2" riser underneath it, to make it perfect.
