Q: My mantle is tapered with multiple pieces of trim, staggered in depth, how can I tell if it will fit?

A: As long as the front edge of the mantel is 3-inches or less then it should work! Thanks for your question.

Q: Do these need to “clamp” onto the mantle in order to be secure? If so are they flexible enough to work on varying sized surfaces?

A: The MantleClips can adjust to fit most mantel ledges, from .5 inch up to 3 inches thick!

Thank god for these! My other stocking holders I had did not work. My 1.5 year old pulled on the stocking this year and down on his head went the heavy metal weight stocking holder. Thank god it wasn’t as serious but he got hurt with a black eye. I ordered these and boy were they a dream come true! They stay on my mantle securely. Also, next year, I will put garland above these and create a diff look. Worth every cent.
