I haven’t used these or washed or ironed them yet but they appear to be elegant and will definitely elevate the table. They are thin, so my very dark wood table shows through but I think it’ll be ok once the whole table is set. I’m hoping they don’t shrink when washed but I’ll wash cold, lay flat to dry and iron once almost dry.

These placemats are just beautiful with a linen feel & the stitching around the edges, absolutely gorgeous. I love that they are machine washable. They came out of the washer very nicely.

They are well made and a lovely linen color, which would go with everything. I will certainly enjoy using them, particularly for entertaining guests.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Toscana Collection of Hemstitched Placemats are very stylish and trendy. They have the look of being all Linen, but the material is 20% Linen and 80% Polyester. They are sewn well. The mats are a very generous size of 13" x 19". I love the neutral color which goes with most any decor. They can be used for both a casual, farm house look, or dressed up with finer china for a more formal look. It is great to find a larger set of 12 placemats for larger gatherings, or for when you only need a few place settings and some of the mats may be in the laundry. Washing instructions say to use a cool, delicate setting, line dry and a medium iron setting.

I have a breakfast nook as well as a dining room table. I thought it would be good to get the same placemats for both so I got the set of 12. This gave me enough for both tables and I had one left that went perfect on my coffee table. It made all my rooms cohesive and gave me one left over for mishaps. I am very pleased with the quality of the placemats and they add a look of elegance to the rooms.

It has a cut out border about 2 inches into the placemat which adds to it. These are a nice generous size and able to hold a whole place setting with no problem. A good quality.
