Q: What would I use to put on the bottom of the stools so they don't scuff up my floors?

  • A: Scotch brand makes different sized felt pads you can stick on the bottom of the legs to protect your floors when the chairs move. Target sells them. Try looking in the hardware section.

    Poor quality control

    Poor quality control. I purchased four stools and every one had at least one screw that wasn’t aligned well. Several screws were nearly stripped of their threads trying to force them in. Several of the stools also had rough patches that could have been sanded better before finishing. One stool came without any padded packaging in the box having clearly been previously returned. They look fine from a distance and seem sturdy once assembled.

    Would not recommend

    The bolts for the crossbar do not cinch tight at all so the crossbar moves. The fake wood piece attached to the leg (extended looking crossbar) is literally falling apart and seems to be missing the outer wood piece. I literally just started putting them together. This is right out of the box.

    Wobbly legs that do not fix

    The legs wiggle constantly. I have to tighten screws daily in order to use. Screw holes are poorly made. I had it for a couple months before falling apart though. Now I can’t use it without risk of falling. Do not recommend

    Not as sturdy as they used to be

    I had bought the lighter wood ones a few years ago and really liked them. They were sturdy and felt nice. I recently replaced them with the darker wood ones. And was disappointed. They felt lighter and cheaper. These had more scratches to them, maybe from shipping? And are also not as sturdy. I bought 3 and each stool is very wobbly. I tried to tighten the screws, loosen them switched the legs around. Nothing. I think the holes must be misaligned or the legs are different lengths. The felt on the bottom of the legs keeps coming off. The original ones a bought a few years ago were very sturdy and the felt never came off, even from heavy use.

    Great product

    Excellent stools. Great price. Nice color. Sturdy. Doesnt take up much room. The seat is a bit narrow so it might not be comfortable for everyone. I've had these for two years and they still look great and do not wobble like other inexpensive stools.

    Great but one of the stools was missing the part to screw the screw into. Target wanted me to ship it back to get a replacement but I had already put the rest of it together and tossed the boxes. Oh well. Cute at least, hopefully the missing screw in the seat still somehow holds up. Thankfully they're more for decor than use. Attached are pics of how the screw part should be and how it was.

    Beautiful and easy to put together

    Beautiful and easy to put together. The first one I purchased had one of the screw holes not finished, so the screw wouldn’t even begin to fit. I called the number on the instructions and they said to take it back to the store and that I didn’t even need to take it apart. I did take it apart, but didn’t worry about meticulously wrapping it back up (it was very well wrapped). I used this to make into a saddle stool for my dad’s old Western saddle.

    Screws dont align

    Beautiful stool but impossible to put together. Many reviews here say the same and I’m bummed i didnt read them beforw buying and trying to assemble. Will have to return it but wished it had worked out
