Great but one of the stools was missing the part to screw the screw into. Target wanted me to ship it back to get a replacement but I had already put the rest of it together and tossed the boxes. Oh well. Cute at least, hopefully the missing screw in the seat still somehow holds up. Thankfully they're more for decor than use. Attached are pics of how the screw part should be and how it was.

Beautiful and easy to put together
Beautiful and easy to put together. The first one I purchased had one of the screw holes not finished, so the screw wouldn’t even begin to fit. I called the number on the instructions and they said to take it back to the store and that I didn’t even need to take it apart. I did take it apart, but didn’t worry about meticulously wrapping it back up (it was very well wrapped). I used this to make into a saddle stool for my dad’s old Western saddle.

Great / affordable stool
Easy to assemble, very sturdy and high quality. Absolutely love them. Ordered the brown, glad I looked at reviews because it's true they ARE DARKER IN PERSON. The photos make them look very light and they are not. Works perfectly in my space but just a PSA for anyone else.

Screws dont align
Beautiful stool but impossible to put together. Many reviews here say the same and I’m bummed i didnt read them beforw buying and trying to assemble. Will have to return it but wished it had worked out

Box is missing a very important detail.
While the online description does note that the seat is 9 inches wide, that is not stated on the box. It simply states the measurements of 23 3/4 H x 17 1/8W x 14 1/8 D. I purchased this in store, and there was no floor model, only the box itself. It wasn't until I got home and put it together that I was very disappointed to see the width of the seat was 9 inches. The depth listed on the box is clearly the width between the legs. The brown color is very nice and putting it together was easy, but I am very disappointed that the seat size was not clearly stated on the box as that is not what I expected to get. How well it holds up is to be determined.

Falling apart
These stools are awful. The screws and bolts are horrible. The threads on the bolts wear down and cause the stool legs to fall off. This happened in the first year of use. I bought 3 and all 3 fell apart due to defective bolts.

Great Stools
I really was pleasantly surprised by these stools. They have a solid wood construction which is held together by routed notches combined with a pre-drilled machine bolt. I also appreciated how easy they were assembled together (8 bolts total). The bottoms came with nice pads pre-installed that prevented the feet of the stool from scratching my hardwood floors (which was a plus too).

These are beautiful hardwood stools. I love how they were packaged as well… there was packaging in between each piece as to not cause any scratches, it was meticulously well done. I was hesitant at first purchasing one stool at this cost, but this stool feels like it was made to last. Extremely simple to put together as well and came with everything needed.

This is the Goldilocks barstool. The first one we order was nice to look at, but it was horribly uncomfortable. The next one was this style but too red. This one is comfortable (but no so comfortable that guests overstay) and a nice medium walnut color that goes perfectly with the walnut butcher block island countertop.

Yellow wood, not "natural" color
Sturdy and cute but will return because it’s an old, nasty yellow color of wood — NOT the cooler wood tone shown on product description. Does not match my other more modern wood pieces. So upset!!!! What a waste of time.
