Avoid this lamp
Read the other reviews before purchasing since this is what I thought would be a decent lamp regardless— I was wrong. Poor build quality. Base could not support the offset weight and fasteners/screws were not long enough. Had to use own wrench to tighten since the one they gave bends very easily.

Dranatic Lamp
The lamp itself is beautiful and quite dramatic. The lampshade is awful. The trim on the top and bottom is bubbled and looks terrible. Searching for a way to fix it by adding new trim. A new shade will cost about $100.

Love this lamp!
I love this arched lamp that fits great behind the couch and gives great lighting. I wear cheater glasses now and need a little extra light and it looks great in the room.

I wish I would have spent a little more to get something of better quality. Due to the size of the lamp and the weight of the base, it was a little tricky to put together without any help. As others have noted, the lampshade arrives in pieces and must be assembled. It was my first lampshade assembly and I found it to be awkward but not difficult. The edge details on the shade are not laying flat. Hopefully they will over time, and if they don’t I’ll try to find a (preassembled) replacement shade. My lamp did not come with a bulb even though the description indicated one would be included. I haven’t been able to retract the arc once extended but that’s not a huge deal for me. There is a push button / step on power switch on the cord and that is a feature I like. The marble base and metal body of the lamp are better quality than the shade in my opinion. The packaging included styrofoam layers that had come apart, and that meant little styrofoam beads stuck to my clothes, floor, wall, and the lamp itself, so keep your vacuum handy.

Bubbly shade
The shade was received rolled up and difficult kit to smooth out and shape into the round shape that is presented. After assembly, I noticed bumbling around the seams/border which have nothing gone away. For the ticket price, I think a preassembled shade would be reasonably expected. I plan to return this item.

This lamp looks beautiful in my home! The marble base is HEAVY and so high quality. Took quite a while to assemble but we had no issues. My only complaint is that the lamp shade won’t go to a 90 degree angle. It slants out a little awkwardly.

The shade is not round after assembling it. The adjustable arc does not adjust properly. We will be returning this today. There's absolutely no way to get this item back in the box so I hope Target will accept the item assembled.
