Overall, the nightstand is really nice, but unfortunately, it is not the exact same one that I bought about two years ago. It is a little longer and a little taller than the other Porter nightstand that has the same name. I tried to buy one that matches the current one, but they do not match exactly. I think the manufacturer must have changed something.

Completely different material than the actual Ashley Furniture set. Ordered bc they were discontinued on Ashley’s website and we already have the rest of the set. They came in the mail completely damaged. Holes in the material, broken droor brackets and warped wood.

This nightstand completes the bedroom set. Solid wood, peddle feet. Love it!

Furniture is lovely but was damaged during shipping. The heavy bun feet are strapped to the bottom of the dresser during shipping. The weight of that ripped the bottom of the nightstands loose and now the drawers won't close. Both nightstands also have 2 dents and 2 scratches. We didn't bother reordering because we figured that the same thing will be wrong with the next set. I called and got a 10% discount but I'm not sure that it was worth it. We spent $15 on stain markers to fix the scratches and wood glue to fix the bottom. It will take my husband a whole day to try and reattatch the bottom of both nightstands. The furniture was cheaper that at Ashley but you will probably end up with damaged furniture.

We wanted to replace our smaller, older nightstands, but It was hard match the color of our 28 year old Tommy Bahama bedroom furniture. The 29” Porter fit the bill perfectly.

It is beautiful , but the top has a flaw and still noticeable after a repair.

We bought bedroom furniture about 3 years ago and bought this night stand with our original purchase. We didn't have room for 2 and finally bought the second one to match. Very nice quality, has lasted the 3 years in good shape and is a great size. The drawers open and close easily. The only thing I wish they had was a magnetic closing plate. The drawer when on a slightly un-level piece of carpet pops open all by itself. I think normally the fit of the drawers is tight enough to avoid this.

Lots of bedroom set and this finish the set for the bedroom as a very strong dresser, nightstand and bed. Very happy with.

I've had this Porter bedroom set, Queen bed, 2 nightstands and chest of drawers since 2011. It's solid, strong, drawers are lined in what feels like velvet and the whole set is classically beautiful. I absolutely love it and if I had the space, Id get the dresser as well. I appreciate the drawers on the sleighbed as its where I keep the linens. It's now doubled in price since 2011. Still in this market very worth every penny it would coast me now. This will last me for at least the rest of my life.

We love these nightstands. They are substantial and just the right height. Very well made drawers that close nicely. Plenty of storage room and enough room for sizable lamps and decorations.

The Porter Nightstand is a well built, sturdy classic piece of furniture. It has beautiful lines and the trim and ornate dressings add to the expensive look. The drawers are very spacious, especially the bottom drawer: the handles give the appearance of 3 drawers but there are only 2, with the bottom being very deep. This furniture set compliments my bedroom nicely.
