Piece of junk!
I bought this cause it was the perfect szie and had all the features I wanted. Well, I plugged it in and it just stopped working after a couple hours. Sooo, I return it and get a new one, thinking the first one was just defective. Well....the second one's dimmer was not working properly - it only had 2 settings instead of 3, and this clock also stopped working after being plugged in for a couple hours. It actually got so hot, that I think there was an internal wire that shorted out and fired the thing! So, back it goes and I will look for another model and brand, cause this obviously has a manufacturing flaw.

Too loud and bright
Gets 1 star because the antenna is great. Loses 1 star because it's too bright. There are 2 light settings: visible from outer space and visible a block away. The later of which is still too bright for a bedroom at night. Loses 1 star because the radio alarm does not have variable volume and it is very loud. There is no way to make the radio volume softer when used as an alarm. Loses 1 star because there are birds in the nature sounds. So, it's not a steady stream of water noises, but has random bird calls throughout, thus it's not quite neutral enough for white noise.

Cant turn alarm off
After two weeks, we still can’t figure out how to keep the alarm from going off every morning at 7am and it is really loud. The directions are horrible and the alarm function is overly complicated. Would return if we hadn’t thrown the box away.

While this clock says you can adjust brightness, it only has the settings of bright and brighter. As others have mentioned, programming it is not straightforward. The buttons are all dual function so I can be turning the radio on or off, the alarm on or off, or the volume up from one button. We gave it a week and I still fumble with it. Not to mention how I dislike the shadows it casts at night

Definitely not worth the money
It was hard to set and after a few months it's impossible to set. The led is too bright, even on the lowest setting. The sound machine part is annoying because the sound track is too short.

Disappointing
I am extremely disappointed in this clock radio and in fact threw it in the trash earlier today in disgust after only a few days of ownership. Despite all best efforts to find a place in my apartment where the radio worked, to include hanging it from a hook in the ceiling, FM signal reception was awful. Incredibly irritating. Very poor sound quality. Not at all user friendly in terms of setting time, preset stations. I also believe the advertised dimensions are smaller than the actual unit. Took more table top space than anticipated. All in all, the Jensen clock radio is garbage. I wish I had never bought it.

There were a few things I didn’t really like about this alarm clock. It was pretty difficult to program, the nature sounds run on a constant 15 second loop, and the display is far too bright to sleep with. I returned it and am sticking to my 20 year old alarm clock.

Takes a little getting used to & set up.as there are more buttons & functions you can program & set up than I've ever had before. Nice big bright green displays numbers on the unit & easy to push buttons. Wish the buttons themselves had a little more detail as to what does what on some but can eventually figure out. Nature sounds are nice if you need it.
