Description

Consider this one an investment. Tramontina's 12 in Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Fry Pan with Helper Handle will be your kitchen's workhorse. Part of Tramontina's Gourmet collection, the tri-ply clad skillet is made of premium 18/10 stainless steel, an aluminum core layer, and a layer of magnetic stainless steel. The construction means the fry pan heats from all sides—not just the bottom. Designed to withstand repeated usage even in the most demanding kitchens, it also features stainless steel ergonomic handles riveted for additional support and easy maneuvering. The fry pan is compatible with all cooktops, including induction, and is oven-safe up to 500 F/260 C. Made in Brazil.

Great pan, worth the wait

Received pan late, but worth the wait. Cooked pork medallions with no sticking. Burn marks due to uneven stove. Cleaned easily with soapy water. Buying Barkeep's Friend extra cleaning.

A complete set

Nice addition to my 8 and 10" Fry Pan. Like my other pans, heat distribution is great and there is no need to use a temperature above medium to medium high or you take the risk of overheating the pan and your food.

Delicious

Turns everything into gold. Fried eggs taste better, breaded chicken cooked to perfection. I didn't know how annoying my AllClad pans were until i started using this one. You just need to take care of it!

Best skillet ever!

I bought this skillet about 2 years ago from an online auction and it is absolutely one of the best investments in cookware I have ever made. It heats evenly and conducts heat similar to cast iron which means follow the instructions. When it says not to heat above medium, they mean it. Be patient, keep it at medium or lower depending on what you are cooking. I love how it sears perfectly and adds great flavor to your food. Clean up is easy as long as you use a non-abrasive pad (blue scrubbie) and Bar Keepers Friend. I love this skillet so much I have decided that I need to invest in a nice 3 qt pot as well, by the same company. Once I do, my non-stick cookware will be practice cookware for my kids.
