salad lentils
I've had plenty of dry lentils whether it be soup or a salad. These here are pretty decent. They tastes a lot better with olive oil as well as som red herbs and spices. I also added garlic and some carrots. It turned out very well.

Great for bowls, salads, etc. and only 2 ingredients: lentils and water. Add a bit of olive oil and salt, and the flavor really comes out. Unfortunately, I used to buy these on the regular but they're becoming harder and harder to find.

What happened to these lentils?
I used to buy these in bulk and use them in every dish that calls for lentils. This last batch is way off. I don't know if they change the packaging but there's a wet white paper around the beans and they smell sour and look gross

I have ordered these lentils many times before and it was good. I opened the bag yesterday for this one I bought, and the lentils were white and smelled horrible. The expiration date was not until December 2024. Wasted the money by having to throw it out. Hesitant to buy these lentils again after seeing that and not knowing quality inside the bag.

Love these lentils! Great vegan meat substitute also.
I love these lentils! They are small and offer a great texture. You can add them to just about anything one of my favorite things being is taco meat. i’ll mix with tofu or TVP to make a sofritas and it is great and adds fiber! my three boys love lentils and love these especially, definitely a bonus because I love to sneak and legumes wherever I can! I would definitely say add water if making these in a dryer mix like taco meat because they are on the dry side.

Tried these lentils for the first time w/kale soup. Perfect earthy flavor and aroma to go with the soft greens. I could eat the black lentils by themselves with just a bit of good EVOO and S&P. I hope they keep this one in stock.
