between salon visits to extend the life of their color. I’m finally able
to give them, and you, something that is easy to use at home. This
in-shower treatment is formulated to instantly boost vibrancy and
shine, while adding depth to color treated or natural dark brown hair.
It will help you keep your color looking fresh, shiny and healthy
between appointments.

Choose this color if you have dark brown hair and want to amplify or

HOW TO:
(Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair)
1. wet your hair thoroughly in the shower.
2. mix bottle 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over.
3. wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.
4. shampoo and condition as usual.

    I normally LOVE this gloss but the last couple times I have repurchased it I notice that the color looks off and like a bright orange/red. It’s like it was the wrong color packaged inside the chocolate cosmo brown. I rebuy this every month to keep my color fresh so I know what the right tint of the color should be. It’s supposed to be really dark almost black looking in the bottle. It’s disappointing that it’s happened twice now. I will try another box to see if it happens again.

    Permanent dye / damages hair

    I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. What I would clarify is that this is a pretty permanent dye—I wash my hair almost every day and after 6 weeks I still have color residue in my hair. Normally, I would be happy with this result but the majority of the color washed out after a few washes and left my hair very damaged in return. I have a lot of breakage and dryness in the weeks following usage. I knew it was a possibility that it would damage but I had higher hopes out of a gloss and a product that boasts healthy hair and shine. There was truly nothing healthy about this process! I would avoid this product—you’re better off using a traditional box dye if you want a quick and cheap way to damage your hair. At least the color will last longer that way.

    Horrible experience. I had beautiful light hair, and in 20 minutes it turned into a dark black color. This is not a gloss - this is a strong dye. It’s been a month, I wash my hair every day, and it’s not fading.

    There’s no “Golden Brown” about this formula. It’s just DARK. It worked but I’d be careful how long you let it oxidize. I had it on for about ten minutes and my hair is nearly black from a light/medium brown. Also, slightly drying.

    Not a gloss- too dark!!!

    I’ve used this product in other colors and had great results, but this shade was a huge disappointment. It did not feel like a gloss at all. Instead of adding a subtle tone, it completely covered my blonde hair. It has been over a week of washing with hot water and the color has not budged. The shade turned out extremely dark—almost black—which was not what I expected at all. Unfortunately, I now have to schedule a color-correction appointment with my stylist. I would not recommend this shade!

    Hair loss and super drying

    After hearing people rave about this gloss product for years I thought I would try it out in between dye appointments. Never again. First of all, it had my hair falling out in complete chunks and it made my hair feel super dry (isn’t this supposed to be a gloss?), plus there was almost no discernible change in color on my hair. An absolute waste of money.

    Warning: Very Dark!

    Inconsistent results

    I’m writing a review after buying this product twice - each time there was a different outcome, leading me to conclude that there must be vast inconsistencies across its production. The first time I bought it, there was too much developer to fit all the color in at once. And even then, the viscosity of the liquid was complete water - it dripped all over and just ran from my hair. The final effect was a glossy finish but no noticeable color. The second time I tried this, about 4 weeks later, the viscosity was completely different. It was like what you see in TikTok videos- thick, creamy, like a normal hair color consistency. It applied way easier though the final product was a DRASTIC different in my hair color. It looked almost black it was so dark. And not at all glossy. I have no idea how this product is actually supposed to turn out because of these vastly different experiences. It’s been a waste of $30 overall and completely inconsistent - and so I would t recommend it.

    NOT a gloss - beware

    Thought this would be a “gloss” treatment similar to what I get done from my stylist. Did it in hopes of holding out another month or two. Followed instructions exactly for this warm gold brown gloss to make my hair really dark black. Not only did it do that, but it covered all my highlights and still months later it has never came out of those. So now I’m starting from square one and a color correction. Beware of the name “gloss” because it did not end up that way.

    A great wallet-saving option!

    Four stars for the cost and ease of use! I have VERY long hair and one box was all I needed! I do think people should watch several videos before using to find someone with your hair color to see what it will look like after. I had a brassy grown out caramel balayage and wanted to go for one solid dark brown. This gloss delivered! I did wash out after 15 minutes instead of 20 thought.
