Good Size
Good size for general storage of parts and materials in a home workshop, like they were designed specifically to work with warehouse rivet rack shelving units. The handles are nice, and top closes securely. The old tops were better though, because they were sturdier and raised in the center to allow for more storage. The difference is noticeable and definitely a downgrade.

One of the four boxes came broken. In order to replace the broken one, I have to return all 4. The single item can’t be replaced - online or at the store. Unfortunately, I had already packed/stored items on the other three. Too late by the time I noticed. Unpacking, returning and waiting for a replacement is too much of a hassle. Paying full price when one of the items is broken. Not good.

Sturdy and Secure
Amazing Product.....the latches are so tight and secure. You could put anything in it and it would hold. I ended up putting scads and piles of paperwork and nothing is going anywhere! Great job Sterlite!!!!!!!

Great all around storage
I received this product as part of a My-Take research study. You can't get any better all around storage than this size of a Sterilite latch box. The latch has been improved and I was able to fill it full of fabric and mash it down and latch the box.

Organizational lifesaver
My basement was an explosion of Lego bricks. I found these 18 quart latch totes to be a lifesaver. Too big and I can’t lift them; too small and they don’t hold enough. These 18 quart bins hit the sweet spot. I can stack them and still see that is inside since the bin itself is clear. Excellent construction and functionality
My husband and I are in the process of organizing our basement which requires heavy duty storage boxes with secure lids. I love this one because the sides are transparent and the latch for the lid is extremely secure! I don’t make a point of dropping storage boxes but if I happen to drop this one, I’m confident the contents will stay secure! It’s well constructed and the latch is easy to open and close. Great Storage
The 18 quart ultra latch box is perfect for storing many small items. I used this box to store my child's kitchen tools and it easily held all of her things. The latches securely closed the lid without worry of spilling the enclosed items. The box is well made and durable. The clear base allows for seeing what is stored inside the box. Very versatile storage bin. It's large enough to organize and store the kids' toys. Clear sides allows for easy sorting without opening the lid. The latching top is sturdy and secure. Good size for use in bedrooms, pantry, or closets. Not ideal for outdoor use as the lid does not have an airtight seal.

Size is great/packing is poor
One arrived broken. Interestingly the lids are very well protected & packed separately but the storage boxes themselves are just in a box with no packing. The bottom box in the stack of this 4 pack arrived cracked. The idea of shipping back a package this large or even taking it to Target doesn't appeal to me. Plus I've discovered it after already filling the top two boxes. Ugh. It also makes me wonder if the rest will crack this easily or if it was just too many dropped transfers during shipping without any kind of cushion at the bottom of the shipping box. The storage boxes themselves are HUGE. I think from a design point they would be better suited to have 4 locking clips instead of only the 2 on the ends as the sides tend to bow out without the support of a clip.

I have hundreds of these boxes but the company moving away from clear lids is a deal breaker. well be going to a different brand.

Bring back the clear lids!
These 18 quart Ultra containers used to be a 5 star product. But Sterilite got rid of the clear lids and now the lids are opaque white. The rest of the container is still good, but the lids are much worse. I can no longer tell what's in the container from above. Bring back the clear lids and stop messing with good products!

Was a great box but you can't get see through lids
I loved this box with the clear lid. Then they quit making them. Only white lids. So now I use another brand that is inferior but has a clear lid.
