NEED REPLACEMENT LIDS
I need replacement lids. Please don't any longer take advantage of consumers by forcing them to buy a new container to get a lid. This is wasteful and wrong. We should be able to purchase replacement lids. I agree with others that I would give this 5 stars if the lids would hold up. Because the lids do not hold up like they do on your other styles of tubs, I believe you should offer replacements. Thank you.

Our product mix is very diverse to meet the many different storage needs of our Consumers. Many of our products last for a long time and the lids and colors change thus making it very difficult to maintain a stock that would fit all items for our Consumers. Retailers do not have space to sell and stock the lids separately either. We plan our production for items with the number of lids needed to fit the number of bottoms. Even if we were to pull a lid from production it is not designed to travel through the mail or UPS. Our products are nested and packaged to withstand the rigors of shipping as a full carton. All our products can be recycled; see the triangle on the bottom of our products for sorting. We continue to evaluate and explore ways that we can meet our consumer needs. Great tote boxes with fragile lids
If these boxes had better lids, I’d give them 5 stars. I have about 25 of these and at least 5 have broken lids now. The boxes themselves and the latches have had zero issues. Doesn’t seem like it’s possible to buy just the lids either. Guess the company expects you to re-buy a set each time something breaks. Sad and definitely not something I plan on buying again for my future needs.

I have over 80, but new lids are too weak
The prior lids were a thicker mailable plastic that bubbled up. This allowed for more volume but also stronger boxes. The new lids are flat and more brittle. I have had so many break where as my 15 year old lids are still going strong. I have so many broken new lids and I can’t even purchase new replacements. ( I can’t find them anywhere by themselves). But really the older lid design was much more functional, stronger, crack resistant and provided more volume capacity.

Brittle with age
No, I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the containers. These have been a longtime go-to (we probably have 15-20 of them), but I'm realizing what I thought was 1 damaged container is now multiples. Some of these have been stacked for years under medium loads, and as I've moved a few of them the latches have pulled away and pieces of the actual container have shattered. Brittle is how I'd describe it.

I live in a damp area. I keep my fabrics in these boxes. When I need a piece of fabric for a quilt, I see what is in the box. They stack quite nicely. Before I use them, I wash them to get the smell out. I then place a sachet scented in vanilla, and then I fill with my fabrics.

Not sturdy long term. Look nice
I love these bins. They look awesome in storage, have helped us with many moves now, and I love that you can see what’s in them without opening them up. We have these bins exclusively so they all match, stack easily and look so organized! Negatives: every single time I order them, 1-2 come cracked. Lid, bin, or something. You can’t return 1-2 without returning the whole set. It’s very inconvenient. They also all have not held up well over the years. I have many with cracked handles (the tiny plastic nob breaks off so the handle can’t stay on).

Very weak lid and latch
My lid and latch also cracked and broke into smaller pieces. I tried duck taping them, but they are kept deteriorating. I was also hoping to find a stronger lid but not sure how that works.The stores sell them together but I just need a stronger lid. Today, the latch also broke. Not good.

Great size box and good design. However, lid design is not good. Easily cracked. Bought four bins and two lids cracked (quickly and just with removing them - not stacking or anything). I came to this site to see if I could replace them but it appears that I need to buy a whole new box?

Lids crack easily, container is sturdy
Trying to purchase replacement lids for these containers that are practically brand new, with negative results from manufacturer Container is useless without the lid.

A perfect size bin for lifting and storing
Great deal. So glad to have a whole set of these arriving at once to establish a neat, able to view, organized look. The size gives me many options for storing. I am also petite and some of the larger sized bins get full and then I can’t lift them up to higher shelves. Secure lids: don’t pop off when rearranging the bins on shelves.
