Ive never seen a trivet like this before. The wood construction is very durable and an attractive color. The magnets inside adhere the trivet to the bottom of my Staub cocotte. It makes it so much easier to serve from the table in my cast iron vessels.

It is worth having a few of these on hand for transfering a hot cocotte to the table for serving. These fit the oval and coq au vin cocottes and are magnetic on the bottom so the trivet attaches to the cocotte and you just carry to the table with the handles and the trivet stays put.

This is one of our companies most ingenious ideas. The magnetic trivet attaches to the bottom of the pan or cocotte when its removed from heat. Using the same handles, it can be transferred to the table in one easy motion. One word of caution, when you need to put the pot back into the oven you need to remove the magnetic trivet or the wood will scorch.

We love to serve food in our Staub oval pieces because they are so pretty and work perfect for keep dishes hot. This trivet always comes into use. It sticks to the bottom of your Staub pieces so it does not slip and keeps your table free from the heat

Brilliant idea!
Magnetizing this wood trivet was brilliant! When handling a heavy and hot Staub cast iron cocotte you do not want your trivet slipping out from under the pot and/or tipping. This solves that problem by securely fastening to the bottom of your cocotte! It will keep your counter or table protected from the heat and stay in place the whole time until you remove it.

This is such a great idea. I pull my cast iron out of the oven and set it on the wooden trivet, wa la, it's stuck to it. It goes straight to the table and no worries about damaging anything. I need round ones too!

I prefer wood trivets over any other surface and this one is perfect for my Staub coq au vin pans or cocottes. It is magnetic so you can attach it to the pan before you take dinner to the table. It can with stand temperatures up to 392F, perfect for those hot Staub pans. I also use it for my Staub grill pans too.

perfect size for your Coq au vin coccote. Will work well with your other Staub pots too. It will hold the heat, and keep your table safe. I like the natural wood look because it does not clash with the beautiful Staub Coccotes. You could also use it to keep your mini coccotes with spices for the table.
