Ive never seen a trivet like this before. The wood construction is very durable and an attractive color. The magnets inside adhere the trivet to the bottom of my Staub cocotte. It makes it so much easier to serve from the table in my cast iron vessels.

It is worth having a few of these on hand for transfering a hot cocotte to the table for serving. The cocottes are magnetic on the bottom so the trivet attaches to the cocotte and you just carry to the table with the handles and stays put.

We love to serve food in our Staub pieces because they are so pretty and work perfect for keep dishes hot. This trivet always comes into use. It sticks to the bottom of your Staub pieces so it does not slip and keeps your table free from the heat.

Ingenious! A trivet that follows the pot around!
These wooden trivets have a strong magnet built into them so that it 'attaches' to the bottom of the pot, and moves from the kitchen to the table with ease. No need to have a second pair of hands - or worse, get to the table with pot in hand, only to realize the trivet was left in the drawer. I have them in ever size.

I have the round magnetic trivet. It's so handy. The oval would be great for oval Staub pots as well, but works on any pot with a magnetic bottom.

This Can Really Take The Heat
This trivet is made out a beechwood and can withstand the extremely high heat that Staub pans generate. Its also magnetic so you can tap your pan to it when leaving the stove and it will stay on - magic! It works perfectly on other pans too.
