A must if you have induction and love donabe
I upgraded to induction and could no longer use my clay donabe. This is perfect size for 3-4 people and has replaced my clay donabes.

Perfection
This is my favorite Dutch oven. I have several Dutch ovens. But this one is absolutely perfect. It is not too big and it is not too small. You can cook a lot of food in this but it never feels super heavy. The curved sides, make stirring easier. This sautées, braises, and fries beautifully. The self-basting lid makes every meal more flavorful. It is easy to clean. Nothing sticks and there are never any stains that are a challenge to get rid of, unlike Le Creuset. Plus, the shade grenadine with the majolic paint is exquisitely, beautiful.

Gorgeous Self-Basting Cast Iron Pot
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I much prefer the Japanese nabe inspired shape of this style of the Staub La Cocotte line-up. It's minimalist, has an aesthetically pleasing silhouette and feels just as high quality as one would come to expect from the Staub line of cast iron pots and ceramics. I've been using this for 3 months already and every time I break it out for a stew, braise or even some experimental baking, it does not disappoint.

Beautiful and functional
I was lucky to score one in a sale. It supposedly had minor imperfections. I didn’t see any but promptly put a chip on it when it slipped from my hands in the sink. Oh, well. It is still drop dead gorgeous, the perfect size for me and I love cooking with it.

Great dish for all this one pot dinners

Just perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re reading this, you know about the unparalleled Staub quality. I own quite a few pieces but this one is the workhorse the kitchen, due to the perfect size. Hard boil some eggs? Check. Make a batch of soup for 2 or 3? Yup. Cook some noodles or spinach as a side dish? Perfect. Not too heavy so that it is cumbersome for this 60 year old. You won’t regret it!

Best Investment
