Do not buy this table. We had it covered all winter and the finish came off and it warped. It’s ruined.

We bought this table for our outdoor patio. The seat cushions are white, which does not seem the best choice for an outdoor table. However, the fabric is also badly suited to outdoors. We have some night time insects here that settle on the cushions, then some of them die. When I tried to wipe the dead insects away, they left black smears on the cushions. We tried cleaning the cushions with multi-surface cleaner, but we could not get them clean. We had bought some bolster cushions (separately), and they did not have any issues with bug smears. We were disappointed that the wooden surface of the table and bench were rough and poorly sealed. After about four months outdoors (some of the time covered), the wood was even rougher. Those same insects settled on the surface, and in some cases they seemed to become black spots absorbed into the upper surface of the wood. We decided to sand the table and bench and then reseal it. We could not sand out the black spots without removing a significant of wood, so we left them. After a light sanding, so much of the table’s color was gone (it was not well stained and the stain was very superficially absorbed), that we decided to also re-stain. After sanding, staining, and sealing, the table looks very nice, much better than when we purchased it. The table, itself, is solid and sturdy. The wood seems to be good quality; however it is not remotely prepared for outdoors. It is not even prepared for indoors. The staining/sealing were done very badly. After sanding/staining/sealing and buying all new seat cushions, the table looks very nice. But you should be prepared to invest time and expense, following the initial purchase, if you want a nice table and chairs. I am including a few photos of the seat cushions, although they were hard to get into focus.

After a happy afternoon assembeling this set, I was very pleased with the look, sturdiness and functionality of the table , bench and chairs. Only one drawback: Dinner seating on the short ends of the table is limited as the chairs can not slide under the table due to the crossbars of the table legs. Otherwise I am delighted with this purchase.

It arrived unraveled and broken.
