These are quality prunes, soft and flavorful, and I feel it's important to buy organic grapes and prunes to avoid concentrated pesticides. However, you don't get very many in the package... the bag is oversized for how much product is inside. 12 prunes for $5 is about 40 cents per prune!

Just opened a pack and the smell was so strong like a chemical, it made my eyes burn a little. They were covered in some kind of white/green mold/hairy substance. Did not taste them for obvious reasons.

Great Prunes
For those concerned about acrylamide in prunes - Acrylamide typically forms in foods when a naturally occurring amino acid (asparagine) combines with (natural or added) sugars at high temperatures. It’s in prunes, coffee, French fries, veggies stick snacks, canned black olives and even a sm amt in baked potatoes. I would not eat too much of any of these foods but I would not be afraid to eat occasionally. These are very tasty prunes.

Bummed I didn’t read the reviews. I also received a pack with mold on them. I am pretty sure the bag was not compromised. I had to cut it open. This is beyond unacceptable and makes me question the quality of good & gather products. This is recall worthy. Why haven’t they haven’t pulled them off the shelves despite complaints??
