  • A: I had anxiety about washing it and it was easy Peasy. Just washed it on the "gentle" cycle with eco (cold) water. Put it in the dryer on low for 45 minutes and all good!

  • A: I bought both the King and the Queen to see what would look best on my King bed. The King draped on to the floor and the blanket is very heavy. The Queen draped over the edge about 6-8" and looked great. I decided to go with the Queen. Both will work, just depends on the look you are going for. Plus the blanket is a loose weave and will also stretch, making it longer. Love this blanket!

Q: Acrylic is famous for not being very warm, but making you sweaty when it gets warmer in the room. Does this do that, despite being over a sheet? Also, acrylic is famous for pilling. Does it pill? Thanks

Q: I wish manufacturers would stop making a Queen/Full size. How does this sixe fit on a Queen, when in bed? Does it become too narrow, leading to partners pulling the blanket for warmth at night?

  • A: I've had this blanket about 6 months. I would say it gives you a pretty decent amount of warmth. Not too hot but not too cold. We sleep hot even in winter and can't use our feather duvet but this works very well as a substitute.

    $80 for a holey blanket?

    This is my second Casaluna knit blanket. I have had one for 4+ years and this is my second one. I have owned it for less than 4 months, it is used as an “end of bed” blanket. I washed it tonight and it completely came apart in the washer, leaving a massive hole where it just started to come undone.     Love it, but it snags

    I just received my second order of this blanket. I loved it the first time but did notice it snagged easily. I've had my second one for less than ten minutes and it snagged. It's so comfortable and I love the weight! I just wish it didn't snag do easily.

    I bought this to elevate my bedding set, and I love how comfortable it is—the material is the most important part for me. The only thing I’d mention is to be careful if you have dogs, as their nails can catch in the fabric and potentially damage it. I actually remove it whenever I let my Golden Retriever into the room.     I’m in love with this blanket! I have a California king bed and I love the length of the blanket goes all the way to the end of both sides of the bed … is HEAVY!     Blanket stretches

    I love the look of this blanket but know that it stretches! I’ve only had this on my bed for appearance ( laying across on the bottom of bed) and it has stretched! It has got so long! I recommend ordering the queen size instead of king unless you want an extra long blanket.

    Love this!!!

    I LOVE this chunky knit blanket! I’ve purchased two of them and may possibly purchase another in the future lol. They are soft and relatively heavy, which I appreciate on top of the comforter. Both blankets I’ve purchased are king sized. The first one I got was the warm brown color (which is pictured with the two cats sleeping on top), and fell in love. I decided to buy the natural color which is in the other two pictures (one of them has direct sunlight in early morning, so it does look more golden, and the other picture that also has the cat on it is a more precise color). The only thing I have to say is after washing the warm brown one, I feel that it is not as soft as it used to be, so I’m hesitant to wash the natural colored one. Also, both beds are pictured with the linen blended duvet sets, which I also love and have written another separate review for. Also, in case anyone’s wondering, these blankets are definitely cat approved lol!

    Decorative use only

    I've owned this blanket for about a year now...trust the reviews that say it snags. I took a chance and it did not pay off. The blanket has so many large pulls and several holes in it now. I do have a cat and a small older dog that I'm sure contributed to the issue so I would definitely not recommend this blanket if you have any pets. It is soft and has a luxurious appearance but not practical for actual use.

    I like it but it snags

    I normally never read the negative reviews because when I buy something, it’s always great but trust me when I say this blanket snags on everything because it does. if you wear rings or bracelets, prepare for it to snag. It’s a beautiful blanket though. I would’ve given it five stars if it didn’t catch on everything.

    Love the Casa Luna products
