A: Hello Sue, Thank you for your interest in the Activity Park Playhouse! The slide is reversible and can be removed turned over and reassembled as a set of stairs. Also, there is no additional set of stairs in the back however there is a pull-up bar and stepping ledge that children can use to get to the front slide/stairs. I hope this information helps! The structure does not contain a dedicated seating area however the unit has an open floor area exposed to the surface the unit is placed on. A child can sit on the surface however it is not recommended if other children are using this area of the playhouse to go down the slide or up the stairs. I do hope this information helps!
