A: Thank you for your question! Yes, the play mat can be used inside a playpen as long as the playpen has an open bottom that allows it to sit directly on top of the mat.

A: Hi. The folding play mats have seams along the folding lines. First, fold the mat in half lengthwise. Then fold the rest of the mat accordion style.
