Beautiful, but Too Big
This is a great roasting pan, but it is just a little too big to fit in my oven. The length from handle edge to handle edge is 18.5”. If it was .25” shorter, then I believe the oven door would be able to close tight and I could use it. I wish that Cuisinart made a slightly smaller version of this. Sadly, I am left searching for a good alternative and planning to give this one away to a friend.

Flimsy Build and Rack Limited to 400°F
I was disappointed with the quality of this Cuisinart roaster. It felt cheap and flimsy, like it could crack over time, and it scratched very easily with normal use. The rack was another major issue, it’s only rated up to 400°F, which doesn’t work for my cooking needs since I often require temperatures closer to 500°F. Overall, the materials and rack quality were not suitable for high-heat roasting, so this was a no for me.

Does Not Cook Evenly, Even With the Rack.
I purchased the Cuisinart Classic Stainless Steel Roaster with Nonstick Rack in 2024 and used it once that year. I pulled it out again for the 2025 holiday season and used it multiple times, including for several whole chickens and my Thanksgiving turkey. Unfortunately, the problem was consistent with everything I cooked in this pan. This roaster does not cook evenly or efficiently. Whether you use the included rack or cook directly in the pan, anything sitting at the bottom does not cook through properly. In every case, the top of the bird would be fully cooked while the underside remained undercooked or raw. This happened repeatedly with multiple chickens and with a full Thanksgiving turkey. The only way to finish cooking was to flip the bird midway through, which is not something you should have to do with a properly designed roasting pan that claims to allow even heat circulation. I tested this both with the rack and without it, and the issue remained the same every time. Heat simply does not circulate well underneath the food. For a product at this price point and from a brand like Cuisinart, this was very disappointing. I would not recommend this roaster if you’re planning to cook poultry or holiday meals and expect consistent, reliable results.

Not Induction Compatible
Not induction cooktop compatible! Beautiful pan! It works great in the oven. However, even though the specs say induction cooktop safe, don't be fooled - it is not an induction ready pan. The bottom is recessed so the pan, while magnetic, does not make enough contact with the burner surface to work on an induction cooktop. So if you're looking to deglaze the pan on your induction cooktop, sadly you must look elsewhere.
