  • A: Hello, Smart Tiles are resistant to the heat of a stove. However, if you have a gas stove without a back control panel or metal plate, you must respect a safety zone (without Smart Tiles) of 20 cm (8 in.) above the surface of the stove in order to prevent direct exposure to an open flame and we recommend to install our Smart Panel. For countertop appliances such as toaster ovens, mini ovens and others, keep a space of 6 cm (2 in.) between Smart Tiles and the appliance.

  • A: Hello, Yes, Smart Tiles can be installed on any smooth surface whose temperature does not exceed 49 °C (120 °F). Avoid any direct contact with a heat source or direct exposure to an open flame. It is possible to install Smart Tiles on the surrounding area of a fireplace as long as the area doesn’t exceed the mentioned temperature of 49°C (120 °F).

Please note Smart Tiles are thin and flexible and the depth of existing grout lines should be taken into account. If you are unsure, we suggest trying one tile before doing a full installation.     Great quality, love the look!

    I love how the finished tiles look! They significantly brightened up my kitchen and the pink Ava shade is fun without being overly whimsical (paired with the Blanco shade). Installing was generally quite easy - the adhesive is strong but allows for multiple do-overs without losing its grip. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 just because the edges of the tiles are a bit difficult to get to look neat, this is because the "grout" part of the tile is very thin and when it overlaps with the adjacent grout of the tile next to it causes it to stick out a little. It's not noticeable in normal kitchen light or daylight, but I have under-cabinet lights shining straight down and with the white grout lines, the light really highlights any imperfections (and I'm a bit finicky with such things). Either way, in the end I'm very happy with the look I was able to achieve without doing actual tilework (I live in a rental). I also covered all the existing grout lines with tape so as to protect them from any potential damage when the new tiles are eventually removed.

    Almost 5 Stars

    Finally got all my tiles put up and I LOVE them. I would give them 5 stars, but I have some corners that are refusing to stay down. I don’t know if there’s a way to fix it because my backsplash underneath is slightly lopsided. (Rentals, amiright?) lol Other than that, the installation was fairly easy once I got the hang of it. I love how it brightens up my dull kitchen!

    good product, lousy fulfillment

    Ordered Aug 16, delivery promised Aug 22, actual delivery Aug 29. In addition, the product was loose in the box, with no original packaging. Target could take fulfillment lessons from Amazon, which sells the same product and delivers the next day, in the manufacturer's packaging. This is a good product, but two weeks to deliver it is substandard.

    Never Received Item

    I never received this item. I ordered it on 8/16 and it was to arrive 8/22, however UPS never had possession of the item despite it being shipped. I was unable to ever see any tracking info and I had no choice but to cancel the order on 8/25, as I’ve had zero communication from Target about this item.

    Marvellous Mustard!

    Great addition to a boring kitchen.

    My girlfriend had these in her kitchen and really liked them so we decided to install them in ours when she moved in. Installation was easy enough and they are a breeze to clean. Now our kitchen has a nice pop of pink to give it some more character.

    Perfect Backsplash

    Great product. I used them for a backsplash which really brightened up my kitchen. The tiles were easy to install with a little practice. I like that they were easy to reposition - the grout lines matched up perfectly. I also like that the tiles are easy to clean and require no maintenance.

    Wonderful, high quality stick tiles

    I have seen an advertisement about the green tiles and I thought it would look so cool in our kitchen. Once I unpacked them, I was really impressed how good the quality was, they looked so real! They were easy to cut, they stuck absolutely solid to our wall but are also easily taken off to adjust. After one month usage I can confidently say that I am very happy. Our kitchen got a new, fancy look and they stick reliably and are easy to clean. Would recommend 100% Absolutely worth the money!

    Wow these look great! A very affordable alternative to real tile and can’t tell the difference.

    Really Look Excellent. Very happy. Waaaay cheaper than having real tile installed and cannot tell the difference. Easy to install, just take your tile and do it slowly. It took me about 4 hours for my 8 square feet. Have the right tools and don’t rush. Definitely recommend ordering extra for mistakes, you will make some.
