I bought this as a gift for my grandson.

My son got this and the dinosaur stopped moving after two weeks. The wheels move but the dinosaur moves hardly a cm. It can't make any turns. Waste of money. Not sure if it can be returned because my son hardly played. I don't recommend

Easy to use and lots of fun for my 4 year old

This is very cute and would be amazing if it weren't for one horrible design flaw. When Rumble is left alone for too long, it will start moving in a random way. I presume this is to let you know it's on, but the time isn't very long. Every time I set up a scenario for my son to figure out, the dinosaur starts moving before he's figured out a solution. Have the time it knocks over whatever we've set up. So the only way for us to use this is to set up the challenge, keeping the dinosaur turned off. Then, when my son has come up with a solution to try, we have to turn the dinosaur on and then we can enter the instructions. This flaw makes it miserable to use.

5 year old completely engaged Great quality product Each element, Rumble, Bumble, the scene and the story book all engaging on their own Put them all together and they create a fantastic world Not all elements are needed to play - can use just Rumble Map / steps encourage younger siblings to join in For my 5 year old to program Rumble was fascinating Simple coding initially - just seeing him do what you ask is fabulous More complex coding comes later so the longevity of this product is 4 years at least.... Easy to program and instructions are easy to follow too Great value for money, actually very cute! Worthy of being a present for Christmas / Birthday for own child - excellent value for money in that sense Way too pricey to be a gift for someone else's child!!

They've particularly enjoyed making Rumble crash into these rocks. Does contain small pieces so not ideal with very small crawlers.

Rumble is controlled by the keypad on his back, easily accessible by little or big fingers, you can program lots of instructions at once. Much to my son's delight as he sets Rumble off, crashing into the tree and rocks on his journey round the table. As it says it is completely screen free which is great. I really like the fact it can be used by a child as they please, then with an adult there can be structured learning. As my child grows he will be able to access the story by himself and further his knowledge of coding.

From a parents perspective it was great to see his mind working out the simple coding needed to go back and forth and sideways, and from his perspective he has simply been having a great time making up his stories and enjoying Rumble and Bumble.
