Q: What is the correct bulb? The sticker on the socket says Type B, the specifications say size E26 base. They seems to be 2 different bulbs. I need maximum light - what should I get?

  • A: Hi - this design uses a maximum 60W Standard-Medium base A15 shape light bulb. so it is a standard base, but the bulb is a little shorter than normal. Look for a standard base A15 bulb. Thank you for the question.

  • A: Hi - the cord comes out of the free pole, not from the base. So depending on where you have the height set, the cord will exit the pole a foot or so above the base. Hope that helps! Thank you for the question.

Q: Can the lamp be turned on to different brightness settings, i.e. dim, bright, and off?

  • A: Hello - no, this particular design does not have any dimming or brightness setting capability. However, if you like the design, you can get that functionality simply by adding a line cord dimmer. You would plug the lamp into the dimmer, then use the dimmer switch to dim the lamp and set the lighting levels. Hope that helps. Thank you for your question!

    Great reading lamp

    Packaged very well, however; the bulb was not included. Luckily I had one at home. Easy assembly. Took a less than 5minutes to screw on the round bottom piece, then screw the poles to each other, then screw in the bulb. ** I saw in some reviews they mentioned the bulb was hard to screw in, but I did not find the bulb difficult to screw in and I am 65 with arthritis in my hands & fingers. The lamp is easy to adjust to the desired height. The lamp is stable on the carpet as well as on the hardwood floor. The gold color is beautiful and the lamp itself is a great design. I am pleased with the brightness of the bulb and the fact that the shade swivels so you can adjust how much brightness is directly on you or your work area.

    Base is NOT 7.5"

    The lamp itself is nice, but the base IS NOT 7.5” as specified. I ordered this specifically to place in a space of 8.5”. The diameter is 10” across. So bummed!

    Beautiful, adjustable, needs dimmer

    Beautiful lamp. Base is adjustable for height. The only thing that would have been nice would be a dimmer. There is no dimmer.
