This item is well made and affordable for a purchase for a young child. The power tools do require batteries. It is made of plastic but pretty durable.

Bad product returned it. Customer service was horrible and waited forever to be helped

It says 53 tools and accessories but you are left with only 4 screws 2 nuts and 5 nails then the 7 big tools to play with. In some reviews I saw pieces of wood ours did not come with it. Would not recommend.

The BLACK+DECKER Ready to Build Workbench is a fantastic toy for young kids who love to build and tinker! My toddler absolutely loves it. The set comes with so many tools, and the realistic drill and saw features keep him entertained for hours. The workbench is sturdy, and I appreciate how it helps with his fine motor skills and creativity. It’s a great way to encourage imaginative play and hands-on learning.

My 4 yo asked for this to accompany the toolbox I’d gotten for him previously. He loves it. But for $70 it should come with all the batteries needed to operate the tools. The instructions also mimic ikea instructions. Just pictures, no words.

Open box missing parts

Very boring. Theres nothing for the kid to actually do with the bench. The tools don’t really do anything other than make noise. There is a better black and decker version on amazon that has more tools and it comes with parts you can actually use to build something.

My grandsons just love this work bench. It comes with lots of tools, very realistic.

This is such a fun toy for toddlers with a big imagination! We purchased the set and some of the accessories and our L.O. went right to work with the tools and keeps him very engaged in play! The set was interesting to build. The screws to build the set up are the same plastic screws as those used for play. In theory the adult could build it alongside their L.O. We did not choose this path and had it prebuilt for Christmas morning. Assembly is fairly easy.

It’s Christmas Day and Santa gifted this workbench to my son. Took everything out of the box to assemble and noticed right away it’s missing one of the leg braces, which renders this useless. Will return it tomorrow for a refund and let him pick out something else or get a better one from Amazon.

Misleading and false advertisement

Tried to exchange and the store was out. Received item and box it came in was torn all to pieces. It was a gift and I hate giving a gift with a box that looked like that

You have to use almost all the nuts and bolts to put it together and then you are only left with 4 bolts 2 nuts

My 2 year old daughter loves this and it helps her to feel like a little helper when my husband is working in the garage. She carries these tools all over the place & finds a way to use everything. The little drill & miter saw are so cool and she loves the sound they make! We were concerned after reading previous reviews about it not allowing for enough creativity because kids "can't build" much on it but maybe that just applies to older kids? Yes, a lot of the "parts" that comes with this like the screens and bolys are what is used to put it together but that's part of the fun too and there is plenty left over afterwards! There are also extra sets you can buy on the side if you really feel like you need more but this is a great toy, just a bit expensive.

Absolutely horrible customer service experience at the exton target in Pennsylvania. I purchased an item online to pick up via drive up. When I went to pick up the item and the target employee walked to my car they asked where to place the item and I politely said my trunk and proceeded to pop the trunk of my suv. Later on when I looked at the item it was opened. This is a Christmas present for my son and the last thing I want is to open it on Christmas with parts missing. Also, the only reason I did drive up pick up is because I have a newborn and this was easier for us at the time. I then attempt to call the target to place another one on hold so I can return the next day. Well they tell me they cannot place it on hold and I would need to go in the store and retrieve the item myself and bring it to customer service to exchange. I was unhappy with this and asked to speak with a manager. They transferred me and the line went dead ten mins later. I then tried to call back multiple times to rectify this with no answer. Do better target. I am an unhappy customer. You sold me an open product.

My 2.5 year old son is obsessed with this. It’s all he wants to play with all day!
