Staub Cast Iron Lid Holder - Black

This is a wonderful device however I wish there was a way to purchase additional silicon traps. Our cat got a hold of the trap and ripped it up and we’ve had a really hard time finding any kind of replacement. Otherwise it’s very sturdy and a great purchase.

I have always wonder where to put the Dutch oven lid. So glad there is this.

I have over 10 Dutch ovens, many of them made by Staub. Naturally, I’d like to use a Staub made holder as well. This one is superbly made with heavy cast iron. It is solid and could handle lids as wide as 33cm. I never need to worry about the lid falling off. Cleaning is easy.

Very useful and sturdy! Holds my Dutch oven lid perfectly and the silicone removable tray is easy to clean.

Very stable and the iron finish looks very nice. The top of the holder is silicone, so it won't scratch any lids. Also, there is a removable silicone to secure the lid, so I can clean them when necessary. It also comes with little feet and extra feet to secure even further. Overall, really satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend for those who are looking for a lid holder on the countertop.

I was so happy to receive the older style lid holder with the 2 legs in the back versus the the newer style. They updated the pic online and I questioned it to make sure it was the style with the 2 legs in back and indented front. I called Customer Service and the lady (Susan?) couldn’t be nicer with the follow up. My order arrived today and they are the style pictured. I did see a review below where they had this pic, but she received the other style.

Includes removable silicone liquid trap (for easier washing), plus 3 replacement silicone footpads (in addition to the 3 that are pre installed). This looks to be a very long-lasting tool that will save my counter tops from damage. (Photos show lid from 7-quart, 28-cm round oven.)

A nice sturdy place to park pan lids. Won’t tip even with the heaviest lid . Has a handy silicone insert that’s easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I waited a long time before this was back in stock. Once I received the email, I ordered the same day. I got it fairly quickly. It's sturdy and will last for a long time. I can finally retire my cutting board that I used as a lid holder. This holder is so convenient, takes up little space, and allows condensation to fall into the drip tray. I am about to order a second lid holder since I cook in two or more cast iron pots at a time.

Why I continue to buy STAUB… While we’re forced to accept mediocrity in the form of poorly manufactured goods with a termination date, STAUB never disappoints me with stellar quality. I’m happy to pay for quality which I view as a better long term investment. I’m so impressed with Staub’s lid holder! It’s heavy duty and able to safely support any of my STAUB Cast Iron lids including my 9qt. The lid holder itself is Cast Iron with silicone inserts to hold, collect liquid and protect from scratches. If you’ve been eyeing this and wondering if the price justifies the expense, I highly recommend adding it to your Staub collection along with the silicone, wood handled utensils.

Thank you for such a wonderful, minimalist design Staub! Your engineers rock!!! BTW, this can take any amount of cast iron lid weight.

I had no idea how much I needed the lid holder until I bought it! Every one of my family members, ladies, want one and have to watch them when they leave my home, just kidding, but I do have to listen to remarks about why I didn't buy them one! Should make additional colors. I keep it on my countertop.

The Staub cast iron lid holder is perfect for my neat freak mother who likes a nice looking orderly kitchen, even when cooking up a storm. Nice and sturdy, fits a nice variety of different size and weight lids. Prevents messing countertops and damage from excessive heat.

So practical! I am so happy Staub has this! I never know where to put my lid, and now I have the perfect place! It's sturdy and supports the wide range of lid sizes that I have.

This is designed for Staub but could be used for other lids as well. It's a perfect resting spot. Sturdy, sleek and easy to clean. Quality you can trust. Great accessory for your lids.
