Expensive for what you get
I thought this product would be a nice little addition to the rest of the New Sprouts play food that my son has. As usual for this brand it is good quality and doesn't get wrecked by rough play or chewing, however for the cost of this item there is very little in the set, the pitta bread quarter is very uninspiring and the packaging is very deceiving as the box is greatly oversized in relation to the contents.

Variety and quality - we love New Sprouts
Very cute set. We have many other New Sprouts sets and this set provides a new variety of items with some favorite foods my daughter will love to play with. The items are smaller than the real thing, but not choking hazard size.

Disappointed with the quality
I normally love these sets. We have quite a few sets and I normally love the quality. This set seemed cheap and smelled weird. Even after a few days of play and cleaning them, it still smells like rubber chemicals every time I open the play food tub. Also they are super thin and not as sturdy as the food I'm used to. We have a lot of the food and we were super excited to get this set, but were very disappointed with this one.

We liked shrimp & pizza. Taco & rice need to be improved.
My 3 year old grandson and I love playing with "play food" together! The quality of most of the food has been excellent! However, I feel a few pieces in this set could be better. The sushi and the rice (very bland looking) and the taco also isn't as well done as the previous multicultural food set. We really like the pita, edamame beans, the shrimp and the pizza. It would be great to have a couple pieces of each or have individual pieces for purchase also.
