Learning Resources Pretend and Play Fishing Set, 11 Pieces, Ages 3+

I bought 2 of these as gifts and the magnets aren't strong enough to pick up the fish. I have absolutely no idea what this has good reviews.

My grandson loved this set so much and engaged the entire family in playing with it-in the pool, in the tub, sitting on the couch. He loved the fish so much that he insisted on taking them on the plane back to California. He will want them when he returns in 3 months and I need more fish! Are these available? I suppose I can reorder the entire set, but that seems unnecessary for the three fish. I adore these toys, BTW; they are educational, imaginative, and fun.

Wonderful pretend play toy

My son loves this set! It is very well made and durable. Unlike other sets we have purchased in the past from other brands, the magnets are strong and work well!

My 4 year-old grandson is all about pretend play. When I gave him this play set for Christmas, he grabbed his step stool, filled my kitchen sink with water and spent a good hour on his fishing "trip."

My son loved this toy so much that we had to buy more for all of his friends for Christmas! It is highly durable too so it's still lasting even after more than a year of heavy use. Super fun and educational at the same time.

We recently got this and our daughter loves to pretend fish with it with it. It's great for her to practice her aim and it helps her to understand what it means to concentrate to get an object not with her actual hands. As a parent I personally love the container it comes with. The containers very durable and we have put her other "fishing" stuff in there as well.

The fishing tackle box that it came with, was such a nice size that fit all the items and now has doubled as my daughters extra treasures as well box! She loves carrying it around the house wearing her vest and stuffing her pockets with items to feed the fishes on top of the cute little pink worms it came with. The fishes in three different sizes was made with a really strong magnetic so for her to crank down the fishing rod it was really fun for her to be able to "catch" the fishes on the floor and also so much fun in the bath! With the weather getting colder this was a fun activity to just put a bucket of water in the tub and for her to pull up a chair and pretend to go fishing. I would ask her to catch me the biggest fish and she would try and get the largest out of the 3. So it's a fun way for her to comprehend sizes from small, medium, and large. Highly recommend this toy :)

Both my 2 year old and 7 year old girls enjoy using this toy. You have dress-up and fishing all in one. The vest seems to be their favorite part. We use the fish in the tub with the little one and she could stay in there hours if I let her.

My 2.5yr old son loves this toy! First of all, the packaging is so cute. Everything fits and is stored in a sturdy tackle box that my son loves carrying around the house. The fishing vest that comes with the toy is well-made and has a lot of pockets to hold the play worms and other little things my son likes to carry around with him (toy cars, tools, rocks, etc). All three sizes of fish are sturdy and have strong magnets inside them, so it really stays held onto the fishing line when "caught". The fish can even be put in water to catch and it works great. We played with it in the bathtub the other night and my son was thrilled! Not only is it a great pretend/role playing toy, but we've also been playing games with it to teach him about sizes (small, medium, large) using the different sized fish. Highly recommend!

My son does not like to get dirty at all, so this was a fun way to show him how to fish. He really liked to pretend he was fishing while camping.

I bought one for each of my 2 granddaughters who are 7 and 4 and they played for hours with it. The youngest couldn't wait to get home to play with it in the bathtub. Very user friendly for little ones.

My 3-yr-old got this wonderful imagination-play toy for his third birthday. Almost 10 months later he still enjoys playing with it multiple times per week. The fishing vest fits nicely and is high quality, as are the other pieces. My son has a wonderful time casting the reel and catching the "Daddy, mommy and baby fishes" (large, medium and small). I highly recommend this fun set!
