The dinosaur counting set has captivated children with its engaging design and educational value, making it a popular choice for both home and classroom use. Guests appreciate the vibrant colors and the variety of activities it offers, from counting and sorting to imaginative play. However, concerns about the durability of the egg tops have been noted, suggesting a need for sturdier materials to enhance longevity. Overall, it remains a fun and interactive learning tool for young learners.

New classroom favorite but poor quality
My students loved the counting dinosaurs for weeks after they were out to play with, but the tops of the eggs cracked and broke within the first few days. The eggs were not being played with roughly, they actually enjoy playing Easter egg hunts with them. They still use them, but some of the tops are broken.

My Daughter's favorite toy
Ever since Easter, my daughter has not stopped playing with them. She loves hatching the eggs, counting how many of each dino she has, and putting them all on her "dinosaur train". I wish I had gotten this sooner!

The kids love it, but I am disappointed with quality of eggs
I purchased this item for my preschool classroom. It was very well received by the kids. The kids love it beyond expectation. However, I am so disappointed in the quality of the eggs. The plastic is so thin and after the first day of use, 4 of the 10 eggs were cracked. The kids were simply opening the eggs and they cracked. After one week, I am now down to one egg that has the top. I realize that I have multiple kids using the manipulative, but personally, I feel the eggs should be made of a sturdier quality plastic. The dinosaurs are great colors, and fun for the kids, but now it is just more like another math counter piece in my classroom. I wanted something engaging and interactive beyond just regular counters, because I have a million of those. Please consider using a more sturdy plastic for these eggs because the idea of it is great, just not great quality.

This product is adoreable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my nephew. It is an educational activity that needs to be supported by an adult at first. But we made a game out of it and now he loves it!

Counting Dino-Sorters - Lots of cute and sturdy pieces!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The counting and sorting features of this toy are very nice, and the simple and sturdy dinosaur shapes are good as intended or as separate pieces for other imagination adventures. Some of the color matches between the number eggs and dinosaur pieces wasn't always clear but the included activities in the Guide are very helpful! Definitely more fun for kids that are really ready to start counting and doing simple math but still nice for younger ones that just enjoy the colors and pieces.

I would buy this product!
I love this game for my classroom. It teaches them number recognition as well as they are working on their counting skills. My kids ask to play with this everyday they love to sort the dinosaurs by color and place them in their matching egg. They also use teamwork and to help each other count the dinosaurs and tell us what number is on the egg and place that many dinosaurs in the egg.

Great for Leaning and Play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dinosaurs come in a sturdy plastic container. There is a strong plastic small when you first open them but after a few days the smell goes away. My son like to sort them and put them into piles. They are small in size which is nice for little hands. We have practiced counting them but will come in handy when he is leaving how to add and subtract.

Dino's everywhere!!
I got the chance to review this Dino Counting game with my daughter this month. The Dino game came in a good sturdy box! Great for storage! My daughter is 6 years old and has Dravet syndrome a form of epilepsy. She is around 3-4 years old developmentally. These Dino eggs are the perfect shape for her to hold in her hands to pull apart and put back together. The Dino's colors match the Dino eggs so that is just one of the great ways to learn from this set. We also dump all the Dino's in a bucket so she can pick out the different colors and line them up to count them. I love that the numbers are on the eggs to recognize and learn them. This game would also be great for older children to learn the names of the dinosaurs too. Overall great learning toy for all ages.

Great product for number sense
I use this product in my classroom all year long. It supports number sense for math students. First they begin by counting and making patterns. Later they can use them to work on odd and even, addition and subtraction.
