Fans of traditional cookware will love the whistling kettle from the Specialties series. The kettle can hold 2.5 quarts and is made out of high-quality materials: stainless steel and aluminum. The whistling kettle doesn’t absorb any flavors or odors due to the stainless steel which was used in its production. It can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The handle’s two filigree stems make it easy to handle. The whistling kettle was equipped with a sandwich bottom so that water quickly heats up in it. The bottom consists of three layers. The aluminum core is the most important layer, as it ensures good distribution and retention of heat. Pretty but not value for money
Sleek looking kettle. Whistle is great. It does get hot, so requires a towel/mit to touch. Mine came damaged with a leak on the seam at bottom which I discovered on first use. I had a peak inside and it does look rusty at the base of the seam inside as well, disappointing after one use. Unfortunate for such a pricey kettle. I’ll return instead of exchange. Given all the above I’m not feeling value for money with this one and not loving what the inside looks.

Rustic at first use..
I really want to love this pretty tea kettle. However, we didn't know that it's rustic inside and drank all boiling water. I realized the problem the next day and I also tried to clear out what's the black little thing inside the boiling water after boiling with little among of water three times. At first, we thought it might be the cups weren't clean enough but it's not. It's something inside the tea kettle peeling ? Maybe ? I don't know what's that but it's inside the drinking water at that three times. I can't find where it's coming from so far ..

Good tea kettle
The kettle works as expected. To address some complaints, I wanted to add a review. I assume most people turn the heat off once the water starts boiling, esp if one has the whistle attached. The handle on the pot itself does not get hot; I think you'd have to boil the kettle a long time for the big handle to get hot. The spherical handles on the kettle cap and the whistle do get hot. It is fairly easy to get the whistle off with a towel if it's gently placed on the kettle spout. The whistle is plenty loud if it is gently placed on the kettle spout if using high heat. The kettle is fast to boil on my induction cooktop on the matching-size burner at full blast.

almost perfect
this kettle is beautiful looking, stainless steel all through out so easy to clean. this is a very big plus since I am planning to put leave this kettle on the stove when not in use. The water gets hot quicker than my previous ikea kettle. one of the cons is the handle and the cover gets really hot. since the cover detaches, you won't be able to touch it without using a mitten.

Perfect kettle
Great tea kettle. The handle doesn’t get hot, it heats very quickly on my induction stove top, whistle is loud, easy to pour the water out of, and it looks great. Love it.

Beautiful, shiny stainless steel construction make this the one pot to stay on my stove. It heats efficiently on any surface, including induction. Love the whistle bringing me back to the kitchen when the water is boiling. The handle is welded which helps keep it cool, no rivets to transfer heat.

Demeyere Resto is one of my favorite lines and I think this tea kettle is very whimsical! I like the whistle that calls me to the stove when the water is boiling. Often I am deep in something else and am very thankful for that little reminder when something is ready. The stainless steel is beautiful and will stay that way with a little love and care. One of my favorite demeyere purchases for sure.

Resto is a great line of cookware from Demeyere. Most of these pans are made for unique cooking needs. This tea kettle has a nice whistle, heats quickly and will hold the water at a hot temperature for a long period of time on simmer. Pretty to look at and easy to clean.

A modern teapot, so pretty and adorable! This is a whistling tea kettle, the whistling cap is removable if you prefer not to hear the whistling. The lid is impressively fitted and stays in-tack when boiling. This kettle is manufactured from premium 18/10 (18% chromium and 10% nickel) stainless steel, producing the greatest resistance to rust. This kettle can be clean with stainless steel cream cleaner with your dish soap, never use bleach.

Compact Kettle
This compact kettle is a permanent fixture on my stove top. Thick base quickly heats water and retains temperature for an extended period of time. Stainless steel has remained shiny and bright and cleans up easily.

I have a confession to make...I only purchased this tea kettle to display on our stove top. I adore, the shape and the handle. The shiny finish is beautiful and cleans up perfectly the few times it's been splattered on.

Gorgeous Tea Kettle
I purchased this beautiful kettle for my mom and she loves it. It's so pretty she leaves it on her stove. Heats up really fast and you can use on any cooking surface. Nice capacity as well.
