Acure Ultra Hydrating Shampoo - 8 fl oz: Vegan Daily Cleanser with Aloe & Argan Oil for All Hair Types

I used to love this product until they recently changed the formula. It is now impossible to get into your hair as it does not suds up. It also takes 3 times more product as a result. Please change back to your previous formula!

This stuff smells like a combination of a landfill on a hot summer day and the inside of a ten-year-old sneaker worn daily by someone with toenail fungus. Just disgusting. And that's just the beginning. I had to use practically a quarter of the tube of shampoo to work up a lather, and just as much conditioner to coat all my hair. I then tried to pull a wide-toothed comb through it, as I always do, before rinsing. My hair was such a knotted mess that I ripped out a handful. My poor hair was dry and crispy--while still soaking wet in the shower! I don't know where to begin with these Acure products...they're simply the worst hair-care products I've ever used. I returned them immediately.

I've been using this product for years. It's been a rocky road though. I loved the original formula, thick and luxurious sudsy texture. Then they changed it, it was thin and runny. I asked why, propaganda response. When they changed the packaging recently, they changed the formula again! It's back to being thick again, but something is off. It doesn't suds up anymore - unless I use 3 times my normal amount. I wish they'd just leave it alone.

This has quickly become my go to Shampoo + Conditioner combo. I love the price point, scent, and that Acure is vegan + cruelty free. I have thick hair that gets frizzy quickly and I find that this shampoo hydrates my hair and I always wake up with great hair after using. I use this along with the bonding leave-in conditioner spray as well as the ultra hydrating conditioner and I have been delighted by the results. I love Acure and always recommend their hair products to my friends!

I initially bought this at Sprouts cause I wanted to try it and I struggle with scalp buildup/flakyness. No matter what I use most shampoos just make that happen, I double wash my hair and not even that helps. I have tried not washing it as much and it just gets oily and more buildup in scalp. But this!? This shampoo within a week i could tell something was different. When I scratched my head i wouldn't see as much buildup and there wasn't any dandruff on my pillow. Dude this is an improvement. I do wish the bottle was bigger cause it only last me like 2 weeks I think? Definitely recommend and it smells nice too.

I've been struggling with significant hair loss and small periods of regrowth followed by excessive breakages and shedding when the weather gets warmer. It all started with using shampoos that had soap like cleansing agents, like soap nuts. Since then I have tried dozens and dozens of different shampoos. I have used hair oils and hair serums, yet I stayed trapped in this cycle. I tried the Vegamour hair products and my hair shattered like glass! Just the other day, I was going through some old files and found a note about not using protein in hair care products. I was able to finally get some better info about this online. I searched for natural protein-free shampoos and this was recommended. I wasn't planning to run out to the store right away so I looked in the back closet to see if there was any protein-free shampoos in the house. Like a miracle, this product was in the closet! It was bought my one of my housemates. I've been using it for just about 3 days and it has already transformed my hair. My hair feels so much better when washing it and the breakage has dramatically lessened so the point of not causing any visible impact and it seems it will stop or become truly insignificant within just a few more days. I was about ready to butcher my hair off once again but this saved me from getting to that point!

I have 4c hair and this shampoo did not strip my hair or make it feel dry. It is moisturizing and set me up to use my conditioner and leave-in by another brand

Loving this line and clean product. The consistency is quite runny so if you’re not a fan of that then this might not be for you, but I’m really a fan!

I have wavy hair that is prone to frizz in summer and static in winter. I have used this shampoo for a few weeks, and I quickly noticed how slowly my hair became greasy after washing. With all the other shampoos I've used over the years, my hair can make it three days between washes, and is noticeably greasy on day three. With the Acure hydrating shampoo, my hair stays effortlessly good for four days - maybe even longer, I haven't pushed it yet! I truly did not think a shampoo existed that could calibrate my hair so well that I could go four days between washes without needing any other product to manage grease. I love this shampoo and I will be swapping my conditioner next!

A shampoo that doesn't make my hair fall out !!! Accure is a game changer for me. I have tried so many professional , store bought shampoo to avail... THANK YOU ACURE!!!!

I have tried so many different shampoos and conditioners that are geared for a more natural and holistic lifestyle and this is the only one I have found that has not only made my hair super soft, but it has left me with less breakage and lots more hydration!
